Can I just buy firewood somewhere?

In the Dawnguard DLC you can use firewood to make arrows and bolts which I am trying to do now. Do I really have to sit through the 30 second animation for 6 pieces of firewood? Or can I just buy some from a merchant somewhere?

SOMETIMES, but rarely, General Goods vendor can have one for sale.

You can find some spread around but not that many.

So better chopping them, it is faster.

You still have to wait but you don't necessarily have to watch when you make a follower chop it for you XD
