I don't have the Beta, so you lucky sonsa bitches will hopefully be able to give me some feedback, but here's my first concept:

    Sorcerer, Medium Armor, Greatsword

Rather than just go ahead and max for Magicka, or Health, or Stamina, I'm going to try to make a versatile build based on what I think I know. First, Staves are 2 handed, so if I want to be able to Spellsword, I need a class that doesn't need them to deal decent magical damage at a distance. Also, if I'm chain pulled in, or charged, I don't have to try to defend myself with a Staff. Greatsword, because rather than stand, and slug, I want to strike and cast so my stamina recovers while I'm using magicka, and vice-versa. this means I want to hit them HARD, instead of depend on DPS.

This is pretty much the basis of the build, I don't have to put my sword away. Medium Armor to enhance Stamina, because in addition to Pounding mobs, and zotting them I want to be able to Sprint, Dodge, and use Evasion. The hope is I'll be able to emulate the hit and run tactics with seamless Range to Reach, and skip away before they recover.

This should get me through the first 10 levels or so so I can get Weapon Switching, and probabl y play bandit around the PVP area. Kinda Wilderness PKer from Runescape, I'll probably try massed battles, but I doubt it will be that fun all the way up to 50. Slot a Destruction Staff to Fire Support my buddies. I'm building for Solo, but still need a role when I do join up with parties and/or to participate in massed battles, so I'm thinking Artillery Mage with a ginormous Dagger when they do close on me. Probably right about Leather Cannon, not Glass, but enough armor to take a couple hits that aren't dodged, or evaded. If I have enough skill points/shards, piecemail with Light for magicka recovery too.

Oh yeah, this isn't a monologue, guys. What do you have planned, or if you have the Beta, what have you tried so far? How well does it work..?

Well, since nobody want to get onboard, I guess I'll post another until someone decides to join the party:

    Warden of Y'ffre

Wood Elf Templar (or Hospitaller Knight)
    Main Spec: Restoring Light/Sol Spear.
    Attribute Distribution: Health>Stamina>Magicka
    Armor Type: Medium.
    Primary Weapon: Bow
    Secondary Weapon: Greatsword
    Desired Niche or Role: Cavalry/Support

Solo, she should be able to Dodge, take some hits, Heal, Snipe, and Charge before finishing the Damage Race with a head start. Strategically, she should be able to Survive, or at least escape encounters that may be too much to handle alone. Also, Stealth will at least be a minor focus.

In a Party, play the Healer Role as needed in between Support Fire, and Charges to get into the melee, for supporting the Tanks. Run back, and forth to the Fire Support positions, and take shots on targets of opportunity. If I have the Javelin Power, or one like it, I can use the spellsword combo of casting on my way in for a Charge, or Leap attack. Possibly hang back, and shoot while saving my Stamina to Dodge anything I can see coming.

    RP/Religious Restrictions

Devoted to defending the forests of Valenwood, she follows the Green Pact. Strict Carnetarian (Devout Bosmer mothers don’t tell their kids to eat their Veggies) she never uses Axes as symbolic of deforestation. If possible, consume slain enemies, but within a couple days, so no hurry. (May require Lycanthropy/Distaff allegiance to Hircene/Herne.) Defending Valenwood takes precedence over even the Mortal War for Cyrodiil, and the Aldmeri Dominion.

    Strategy, and Tactics

Templar for healing without a restoration Staff. If you just scroll up, this repeats my plan of using the Class’ intrinsic talent so that my Primary, and Secondary weapons can focus on the other 2 sides of the Combat Triad. Not Tank/Heal/Damage, but Infantry/Artillery/Support, she should be able to handle the latter without investment beyond Magicka with Specials. That leaves both hands free for the Bow, or probably a Greatsword. Again, this isn’t a Tank, so Hit&Run is usually better when you can hit them Hard, instead of standing there to hit them again.

That just leaves Magic Damage, since I ain’t got none, unless there’s some more offensive specials I don’t know about. Crafting ought to handle this, and I won’t need Potions as much, so I’m leaning towards Weaponsmith, and Enchanting. Both should generate enough trade goods to barter a decent suit, probably Medium again, to handle Stamina. Relegating Magicka to Healing means I can hopefully Recover before I need it again, so I can reinforce my Armor with lots more Health.

I plan on using the same strategy/build I do in Skyrim; Heavy Armored Sword and Board Paladin Atromancer, who also dabbles with Archery until I can get close enough for my Sword and Shield. I plan on using roughly the same enchantments that I have in Skyrim, as well. I'll summon long-ranged atronachs, shoot them with my Bow until I'm close enough, bash them with my Bow, then unsheathe my Sword and Shield while they gather their bearings. I'll then proceed to block, bash, then slash while they gather their bearings, and rinse and repeat. When I need to heal my allies or myself, I will. I'll also like to utlilize the cloaks for a constant DoT on close-combat enemies (it's just such a pain in Skyrim, since it also hurts neutral enemies). I won't share my enchantments, though, as that's a secret. :)

Death405 i like the build idea what do you think of mine?
I'm making the same Orc build i have in Skyrim, he'll smith his own bow and armor he will use both heavy and light. He's a stealth archer and when something gets to close he pulls out his 2 handed weapon. i loved this build for Skyrim, wonder what the online game will do for stealth players like me. :)

Seems like a good build idea. Hopefully they'll introduce new effects to sneak hits other than just damage multiplier's, like a greater chance to paralyze, etc.

Okay, pick one: Templar (AKA Paladin) or Sorcerer. Only the latter have summons, so far. The skill trees are completely different, and you need either a Restoration, or Destruction Staff (Both 2 handed, but you can Block) to cast spells you don't get some other way, like from Class. There's also going to be a lot of active abilities from other Weapons too. What worked in Skyrim won't necsessarily in ESO. No spells are mapped to a Hand, like a weapon, for instance.

I plan on becoming a Dragonknight. Any class can use any Weapon, so I can easily utilize staves if need be.

I will not be able to make a solid decision until we learn what the racial skill lines are for the races outside of the Ebonheart Pact (assuming the leaked racials are accurate.) As of this moment I am most excited for the Templar class. But, a Dunmer DK seems bad ass, my only fear is that most players in PvP will have decent fire/magic resistances to counter an entire DK skill tree, I know I will.

Fingers crossed for Breton racial to have a magic resist passive. If so i will be a Breton Templar using Sword and Board in both slots. I will just use the quick swap for different active skills.

My Alt will be a Dragonknight Nord.

Yeah, I'm almost certain he was supposed to be a Nightblade. Not often you see that sort of character leading the lines and giving out orders, though, which was cool in the trailer.

Going to be REALLY hard to decide... if the system similar to Skyrim, with the caps being so easily obtained, I'll probably rock a Medium armor set (crafted to armor cap), then max out magic resistance. Toss on a shield and one handed axe, level alteration for more damage mitigation, then tank for my friends all the way up.

Once I'm up there in levels, I'll probably start working on Archery and Stealth, using those to help me roam in AV^3 (Alliance Vs. Alliance Vs. Alliance).

Or I might just go werewolf and eat their harts out!

One thing, though, is assured: I'm a son of Skyrim, and my foes are destined to be nothing more than the honored dead of their families!
