    Name: Lathriel Snowbough

Age- 89, looks to be in mid-late twenties

    Sex- Female

    Race- Altmer

    Class- Sorcerer

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Single

Laterality- Casts spells with both hands.

    Afflictions- None

    Religion- Eight Divines

Appearance- Lathriel is a slim altmer woman, noticably without much in the way of a bust. Her skin is a deep golden sheen, with her eyes being a more citrine yellow. She has a delicate looking vine tattoo climbing up her right arm, starting at the top of her hand and climbing to her elbow. Her hair is platinum blonde and falls to her shoulders. She stands at five feet, nine inches, about average for a high elf.
    Gear

Armor- No armour to speak of, but she does wear deep grey hooded robes, with dark blue, leaved vine embroidery. She wears a pair of sturdy boots, made for traveling long distances.

Weapons- Destruction and alteration magics, with some healing thrown in.

Known Spells- I'd rather not waste space with a full list of spells, but I'll just include her spell levels in each school, shall I?

    Destruction: Master

    Alteration:Adept

    Healing: Novice

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.) A delicate silver ring on the index finger of her right hand, with a small sapphire set within. An amulet of Julianos around her neck.

Personality- Lathriel is outgoing, kind, and studious. While she doesn't go out of her way to interact with people, she is not as haughty as most of her kin. She will go out of her way to help those who seem to truly need help, and will happily discuss magical theory, if the subject comes up. However, she can be quite cold and callous when it comes to combat and protecting her allies.

    Likes- Arcane studies, reading, quiet.

    Dislikes- Cold, racists, ignorance.

Combat Preference- As a spell caster lacking any real form of defences, she will always stay back from an opponent. Her spells allow her to devastate the foe from mid to long range, and she's powerful enough that she can easily overwhelm most minor spellcasters.

Background- Born in the somerset isles, Lathriel was not much different from hundreds of her kin, besides her innate magical talents. She frequently impressed her tutors, and was quickly accepted into one of the more prestigious academies on the isles.

As a sorceress, she learned and mastered spells quickly, with a penchant for destruction magic. The master of the academy was no less impressed than her tutors and parents had been. Much to the envy of her peers, she was assigned to a small watchpost at the borders of the isles.

It was there she met her friend and companion, Imrior. For the better part of a century, the two fulfilled their duties...until the Thalmor came. They too, had taken note of her abilities, and approached her to join their cause. A cause that Lathriel found rather loathsome, and she made the mistake of saying so out loud.

When Imrior found out about this, he quickly arranged passage for the pair out of Dominion territory. They were only briefly pursued, but they both knew that they could never return to their homeland. Worse, they were very nearly broke after paying the smuggler to drop them on the coast of Cyrodiil.

Together, they took up adventuring, slaying monsters and bandits together, and making more than their fair share of enemies. It was this abundance of enemies that nearly killed Imrior, and Lathriels' actions that bound the two together. A notice from a noble in High Rock drew their attention, and seeking a reprieve from their hunters, the pair heads there.

    Dialogue color(s)- This

    Name: Imrior, the Pale Shade

Age- 108, appears late twenties to mid thirties.

    Sex- Male

    Race- Altmer

    Class- Swordsman/warrior

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Single

    Laterality- Left handed

Afflictions- Possibly undead? Feels near constant, though not debilitating pain from wounds he has sustained.

    Religion- None.

Appearance- Imrior used to be a lean, muscular elven soldier, like most in the dominion military. The key here, is the use of the past tense. These days, Imrior is a gaunt, hollow-cheeked wraith of his former self. His skin is corpse white, and his eyes have gone from aldmeri gold, to a pale silver, almost snow white. His hair, falling down to his shoulders, is black as pitch. Standing at over six feet tall, he is quite intimidating when standing still, never mind when in combat.
    Gear

Armor- Overlapping plate armour, forged from moonstone ingots, covers most of his body. His face is hidden behind a pale golden mask, that shows his eyes, and a thin slit for his mouth.

Weapons- The Mournful Blade-A longsword forged from a mixture of moonstone and malachite, making the blade unbelievably light, and giving it a unique, icy texture. The blade is enchanted to freeze the blood of his foes, while boosting his own vitality.

    Known Spells- None

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.) A fur lined dark cloak.

Personality- Imrior is best described as dour and stoic, avoiding people where he can, and limiting his interaction with them when he can't. He is extremely dedicated to Lathriel, and whoever is foolish enough to rise a hand against her in anger will die before their blow falls.

    Likes- Solitude, common sense, Lathriel

    Dislikes- Crowds, overly friendly people.

Combat Preference- In combat, Imrior is a blur of pale gold, icy blue, and dark hair as he slashes his way through the foe with skill only a near century of bladesmanship can accomplish. With no magic at his command, he is vulnerable to mages and arrows, and so closes the distance as quickly as he can.

Background- There is not much to tell about Imrior. He joined the Dominion military at a young age as a capable, if somewhat hot headed spellsword. He was well respected for his skill with the blade and arcane arts, though he never rose above the rank of captain.

He had cooled somewhat by the time he met Lathriel, and took on somewhat of a mentoring role for the younger elf. He heard of the Thalmors' offer and plans to arrest her, so he used his influence to secure passage away from the isles for both of them.

The two became close as they traveled throughout Cyrodiil as blades and spells for hire. It was during this time that they were ambushed by a band of brigands that Imrior was mortally wounded defending Lathriel.

It was then, in desperation that Lathriel summoned raw magic in an attempt to revive her friend. It worked...in a sense. Imriors life was spared, but his form was forever changed into that of a pale skinned, dark haired specter. More than that, his connection to magic of any kind was utterly severed. However, this has not changed his affection for his friend, and he is now more devoted to her than ever.

Is there a separate thread for the RP itself to post that intro in? If not, can you make one real quick? Then I can kick things off.

@Signus I know I declined when you first messaged me, but would it be too late to jump on board? I have an idea for a character that I think might fit well with the story.

Sounds good to me, but you'll be the last character I allow in, unless someone drops out. Also, @Thesius , @TheShadedOne and @Rell you'll need to post your intros' at the main (southern) gate, as I'm about to have someone come in and talk with the others in the tavern.

    Name: Lorius Harkin

    Alias: N/A

    Age: 33

    Sex: Male

    Race: Imperial

    Sexuality: Heterosexual

    Relationship/Marital status: Single

    Laterality: Right handed

    Afflictions: Alcoholic

Appearance: A well built man, clearly no stranger to violence, Lorius is a little paler than the typical imperial, thanks to his upbringing in Bruma. His hair is dark and cut short but not extremely so. His eyes are a grey blue no unlike the sea, when seen from a distance. He stands at just under six feet. His right shoulder has clearly been mauled by some beast in the past, and several scars decorate his torso.

Armour: Surprisingly lightly armoured for someone who spends his time hunting dangerous creatures, Lorious wears steel plates over his upper chest, but the rest of his armour is all hardened leather. Not great when being mauled by a werewolf or some similar creature, but adequate when it comes to fighting humans and humanoids.

Weaponry: A heavy crossbow that he usually has slung over his shoulder, with a couple dozen steel tipped bolts. He also carries a good amount of silver tipped bolts, for the less...mundane creatures. A steel mace, not really remarkable in any way, shape or form. In case of emergencies, he does have a dagger, sheathed at his side.

Class: Witch Hunter/ Vigilant of Stendarr

Combat preference: Lorius prefers to take the enemy down with a well placed shot from his crossbow. The weapon is heavy enough to punch through steel plate, even at a distance. On the downside, it takes a hell of a long time to reload, so Lorius knows he'll only get one shot. He's a good close combat fighter, knowing how to use his off hand to grapple an opponent or attempt to stun them with a punch the face. When in doubt, smack it with something heavy is a favourite method of his, and to this end, he employs his mace.

Personality: Dour, cynical and a bit of kill joy, Lorius has found that most people don't want to be around him for very long. His first and only love in the drink, and he'll happily admit that to anyone who asks. While not a coward in the exact definition of the word, he's in no hurry to throw his life away. He understands gratitude, and the value of cooperation, but rarely does he expect it to play out well.

Religion: Stendarr, though so loosely to the point where he might as well not worship anything at all.

    Positive traits: Determined, experienced, tough.

    Negative traits: Cynical, pessimistic, sarcastic.

Likes: Drinking. Gold. Getting gold to spend on drink.

Dislikes: His job, optimists, not being able to drink.

    Fears: His memories.

History: Born in Bruma, Lorius always identified more with nords than he did imperials. Something that never failed to amuse his nord father, and embarras, at least a little, his imperial mother. He made friends often and easily, but got into fistfights just as often and just as easily. As he grew older, he followed in his fathers' footsteps and became a carpenter, a noble profession, if not as prestigious as a guardsman.

Something his guardsmen friends never failed to remind him of. Lorius didn't hold it against them, though, usually replying that he'd at least be warm in his workshop, while they were freezing their balls off atop a wall, or in some dim ruin, rooting out bandits. Life was good, Lorius and his family were well liked, and it looked like he would be set for life, living a plain but safe life in the city of his birth.

That changed, when word first filtered down from Skyrim of vampire attacks. At first, Lorius paid little heed to the stories. Skyrim was not far from Bruma, just a short trip, relatively speaking, but the odds of vampires getting past the border and causing trouble were astronomical. Besides, what harm could a single vampire do?

Lorius found out just how much when the sister of his best friend came to his shop in tears one cloudy day, saying that her brother had returned to his families homestead after a long shift...and promptly slaughtered them all. All but her, she said. Devastated, Lorius sunk to the ground, not noticing the coy smile that crept across the 'distraught' womans' face. Or the fangs. Or the claws.

He realized, almost too late, that his best friends sister, his only sister, had departed to be wed in Chorrol almost a week earlier. He glanced up to see a pale monster about to tear out his throat. He would have died, then if not for a passing Vigilant of Stendarr, who'd put a crossbow bolt through the monsters' heart. The vigilant explained that he'd been tracking a group of vampires moving south from Skyrim, and that he had indeed come across a massacred guard patrol, along with bloody foot prints, headed back to the city.

Eager to avenge his friend, Lorius quickly joined the Vigilants, spending several years traveling across Skyrim and Cyrodiil, hunting and killing everything from cultists to witches. After years of this, Lorius' rage had cooled, and he began to see that the Vigil of Stendarr were more zealous in finding and executing the 'guilty' than they were protecting them. Realizing the cause he'd dedicated the past few years of his life to had been a lie, the witch hunter turned to drinking.

Bitter and cynical, Lorius continued to fullfill his duties, but with none of the zeal he had possessed as a younger man. Instead, he traveled from village to village, rooting out 'evil' for a price. He's condemned dozens to death, and more often than not, carried out the sentence himself. He was almost relieved to recieve the letter from a minor lord of High Rock, requesting that he clear out some ancient ruin...

    Dialogue Colour:Tan, perhaps.

No, these mercenary types are just shepherding us along to meet the lord. But they're also not too keen on us nosing in on their turf, in a manner of speaking.

EDIT: Alright, I've brought up three wagons for our group to travel in. I really hope this doesn't seem to railroady, just trying to get us together and moving. Have your characters pick a wagon, and I'll edit the people-wagon listings on the first post.
