Very nice, Simus. I'm rewriting Aliah's character card as well, because I think it's only fitting to have her be present in a story that she started off in. Should have the renewed card up tomorrow morning(?).

    Name: Tallus Callen

Alias: None that he knows of.

    Age: 31

    Sex: Male

    Race: Argonian

    Sexuality: Heterosexual

    Relationship/Marital status: Single

Laterality: He can fight well enough with either hand but prefers his right hand.

    Afflictions: None

Appearance: An argonian male with dark grey scales that cover most of his body. The scales grow gradually lighter under his jaw and most of his front. A large, blue stripe is painted from the top of his jaw to between his eyes, then swirls to his cheeks. He has horn, but does have small, angular protrusions above his eyes and on the underside of his jaw. He is well built, clearly no stranger to close combat and excercise.

Armour: A sensible mix of flexible leather gear and some steel plates around his torso. He wears lighter leather over the rest of his body, so that he can reposition and escape trouble with ease.

Weaponry: A crossbow, heavy enough to fire bolts further than most weapons of the same category. He also carries a shortsword, in case close combat is necessary. Both the blade and the crossbow have seen a lot of use, but they are very clearly well cared for.

    Class: Sharpshoot/skirmisher.

Combat preference: Tallus is known as an expert marksman, and not for no reason. He can hit a trolls eye at a hundred paces, and he's practiced long and hard with his crossbow to be able to do just that. Obviously, he prefers to engage and kill from afar, thinning out the enemy for his allies. He's a capable swordsman, but not a master duellist by any stretch of the imagination.

Personality: Friendly, charming, but can become vicious and vengeful if his friends or those he cares for are harmed. Tallus is no stranger to the rougher side of civilization, but he believes firmly in upholding the law of the lands. He does not care for thieving or murder in dark allies, but at the end of the day, he believes strongly in helping people rather than organizations.

    Religion:

    Positive traits: Freindly, charming, loyal

Negative traits: A little arrogant, vengeful.

Likes: Shooting, the out doors, quiet conversation

    Dislikes: Murder, lawlessness, oppression.

    Fears: Not being good enough.

History: Born in the city of Leyawiin, Tallus never met his parents, and was raised in an orphanage for the first six years of his life. He was adopted by a retired soldier and his wife, who took him to a small but impressive home. As he grew older, his adoptive parents taught him how to fight and shoot. He was a better shot than he was a duellist, but he impressed his father enough so that when he was old enough to join the town guard, the man put his recommendation behind Tallens' application.

He was accepted into the guard and quickly proved himself, driving off a band of raiders that had been harrassing a caravan from the walls, by putting a bolt through the top of the bandit leaders' skull. While he served with distinction, Tallen quickly grew disgusted by the rampant corruption that dwelt in the city. Unable to stomach it, he bade his adoptive parents farewell, and left Leyawiin behind.

He became a freelance mercenary, hunting bandits and monsters to make life a little easier for common people. He refused payment when he could, and avoided most towns, unless it was just to spend the night. Eventually, word from the far northern province of Skyrim reaches him. While the province is technically no longer a province, he still feels the desire to help its' people. With that in mind, he makes his way to the hold of Falkreath.

    Dialogue Colour: This

    Name: Aliah Stormwind

    Alias:None

Age: Early nineties, though she looks much younger, perhaps mid to late twenties due to a mixture of vampirism and elvish aging.

    Sex: Female

    Race: Altmer

    Sexuality:Heterosexual

    Relationship/Marital status: Single

    Laterality: Ambidextrous

    Afflictions: Vampirism.

Appearance: Aliah is like most Altmer, tall, standing at just under six feet. She has shoulder length dark red hair, and golden eyes, flecked with an unusual violet. Her skin is a light shade of gold, like most of her kind. She has high cheek bones, and an expressive, cupids bow mouth. She has a small scar just below her left ear, barely noticeable, unless one looks closely. Her skin is noticably paler than most of her kin, and her eyes have a strange hunger to them. Looking closer, one might spot the tips of fangs.

Armour: Skin tight leather that provides little in the way of protection, she is extremely manueverable, able to evade most attacks with ease. Over this she wears an overcoat of dark fabric, with a hood to protect herself from the sun. Her boots are knee high leather and treated to be rather durable.

Weaponry: A pair of ebony blades, that she is quite proficient in using.

    Class:Bladeswoman.

Combat preference: In the midst of the foe, slashing her enemies apart with skillfull spins and ripostes. She has no magic to speak of, and she is, by her own admission, a horrible shot with a bow. Due to her light armour, she can't really afford to take a hit.

Personality: Aloof at first, Aliah does not make friends easily, but she tends to be a caring and protective ally to those who have gained her trust. She often takes more responsibility upon herself than she should, which can make her rather stand offish. She struggles with the darker impulses of her vampiric curse.

    Religion: Divines

Positive traits: Fast thinking, kind, clever

Negative traits: Aloof, quick to anger, vampire

    Likes: Moonlit walks, reading, swords

    Dislikes: Sunlight, vampires, thalmor.

    Fears: Not finding her sister.

History: Once Aldmeri nobility, Aliah was attacked by a vampire, turning into one herself, three days later. She was shunned by other nobles, and eventually decided to sail to Skyrim and help her kinsmen put down the illegal worship of Talos. She also met her lover, Dalamir there and served in and around the Thalmor Embassy. After the Empire was defeated, the Nords stormed the embassy, and Dalamir, along with dozens of elite Thalmor soldiers sacrificed their lives defending it.Aliah escaped, although not before suffering humiliation at the hands of her Nord captors, that had taken her and two other Altmer on the road. After that particular incident, Aliah faded into the background of Skyrim, narrowly avoiding capture on many occasions.

Only news of her younger sister, Senya, arriving at Solitude several months ago has drawn her out of hiding. With the danger of a destabilising Skyrim in mind, Aliah begins to search for her sister, without much luck. She arrives in Falkreath frustrated and worried. The news of trouble in the hold does little to soothe her mind. However, she knows that joining a capable group could help her achieve her goals as well as find her sister.

    Dialogue Colour:Usual purplish colour.

So would it be a huge problem for anyone if Hafnar knew the gate guards? I'm thinking because he used to be a soldier at least one of 'em would recognize him and want to shoot the plops. During my job, I've come to think as dark and rainy nights as pretty damn boring. Luckily I've got my phone to keep me entertained, and these guys don't.

@Drahkma get a move on and let's see your card! I joke, of course. So, we'll have a couple more posts at the inn, and wait for the last few intros. Don't want to leave anyone behind.

    Name: Devorin Halstead

    Alias: The Grey Knight, Halfbreed.

    Age: 34

    Sex: Male

    Race: Dunmer

    Sexuality: Heterosexual

    Relationship/Marital status: Single

    Laterality: Right handed

    Afflictions: None

Appearance: Tall for a dunmer, Devorin stands at just under six feet tall, with a strong jaw, dark red eyes, and short black hair. He's well built and as the various scars on his face and torso will attest, no stranger to combat. An old scar at the right corner of his lip gives it a slight curl, giving him the appearance of permanently sneering. He might have been handsome, even aristocratic looking, before his face was marred. In addition to the scar on his lip, he has one that stretches from below his right ear to the tip of his chin, and another that crosses just above his left eyebrow. He has no ornaments or tattoos.

Armour: A set of well cared for steel plate, though it has clearly seen some battle. He lacks the helm, as he feels it hems in his peripheral vision and dampens his hearing.

Weaponry: A masterforged bastard sword that he's named Inheritance. The blade belonged to his father, and was stolen by Devorin when he fled the castle.

    Class: Knight

Combat preference: Devorin is geared to be in the front lines, as he has nothing that could make any kind of difference in range, except maybe throwing his sword. Which is a spectacularly stupid idea. His dunmer/breton physiology gives him some good resistance to magic, but he's vulnerable to ranged attacks, specifically armour piercing.

Personality: A snide and somewhat headstrong individual, Devorin grates on the nerves more than a little. He holds grudges, perhaps beyond the point of wisdom, and his lineage in particular is something of a sore spot. He displays a shocking disregard for authority, and may go out of his way to irritate those in charge. He does have a glimmer of chivalry, as he despises those that prey on the weak on defenceless, though he'll never admit that to anyone.

    Religion: Divines, though very loosely.

Positive traits: Headstrong, intelligent, degends the weak

Negative traits: Arrogant, quick to anger, disregards authority

Likes: Mocking others, solitude, making his own path.

Dislikes: Being told what to do, cruelty, being mocked.

Fears: His father, though he'll never admit to that.

History: Devorin is the offspring of a minor breton lord and a dunmer woman, who he never met. Allegedly, she was a prostitute that the lord took a liking to and had brought back to his estate. After she bore him a son, she vanished, leaving Devorin to be raised by wetnurses and castle serfs. Some say the lord sent her away with enough gold to live the rest of her life in comfort. Others, that she died during childbirth. Others still whisper that the lord had her killed, to keep his affair with her quiet.

Though he did not love Devorin in the slightest, he knew that to continue his house, he needed an heir. An heir that needed to be well read and well taught in courtly etiquette. So, he hired tutors for Devorin, having him learn the history of the house and how one was expected to behave as a lord of High Rock. Devorin, for his part, cared little. As he reached adulthood, he quickly became known as one who frequented brothels and taverns, rather than study and attend court. It was there that he heard the darker tales of his mothers' fate.

Furious, Devorin returned to the castle and confronted his father as he returned from a hunt. Unused to being spoken to in such a way and humiliated in front of his servants, the lord struck his 'son' with an armoured gauntlet, giving him the scar at the corner of his mouth. That night, Devorin stole the house heirloom, a bastard sword that the lord proudly displayed over his mantle.

The wayward son stole the fastest horse, some provisions, and donned his suit of armour. He fled High Rock, lending his sword to those who were willing to pay and going by the alias 'the grey knight'. Lately, work has been sparse, but word of a jarl needing aid in the relatively freshly independent kingdom of Skyrim has caught Devorins' ear.

    Dialogue Colour: Orange
