Do you have to be an XBL Gold member to make use of it? I wasn't playing any multiplayer games, so I let my gold subscription lapse a while back, but this might be the kind of thing to draw me back in.
The Archery perk that slows down time when you're zooming in on a target is pretty sweet. Another really hot one is down the Sneak tree, bumping ranged sneak attack damage from 2x to 3x. I don't know the names of either off the top of my head, but both of them have had a dramatic effect on my...
This is a great post for casters, but I rarely use any spell but a trap or a heal - I'd love to see a post along these lines with more of an Archer/Assassin flavor.
Yeah, I agree with the sentiment expressed above. That guy needs to get gone, whether he walks out or is dragged out, he's got no place in your house alone with your wife.
Bandits for sure. Anyone who gives me attitude - the whole, "You-don't-know-who-you're-messing-with!" vibe really makes me want to get out the bow and donate a few arrows.
Bump? Really?
The game is awesome, bugs and all. Very few games are perfect right out of the gate, and I'm sure Bethesda will tighten it up further over future patches. Eskimoletdinov put it exactly right - if bugs bother you that much, give it a month or three after release and then buy the game.
While we're on the topic of mats, is there a site that might list mats for some of the more common poisons and/or potions? I'd like to start using poisons more, but all I've got are the ones from those spiders.
I'd like to see another faction added...a kind of Illuminati-style secret society with layers of political and social intrigue. An organization moving groups like the Stormcloaks and Imperials around like pieces on a chessboard, and the player stumbles into the organization. Maybe starting off...
I started the Stormcloak questline, but after researching some of the lore it feels like my wood elf would probably side with the Imperials. Is there a way to betray the Stormcloaks and flip to the other side?
Yeah, I'd love to hear the story behind all this chaos!
Also, what the heck is up with guards?! The city is under attack by a whole flight of dragons, yet the entire contingent of guardsmen are chasing you around the town. "Heck with the dragon burning our town and our citizenry to cinders...
I had a "wow" moment last night. My archer had just interrogated Nepos (sp?) in Markath. After he confessed to being the mastermind behind all the strange murders and informed me I wouldn't leave his home alive, I did just that...running my ass off.
Of course, his lackeys came after me, so I...
Not a stupid question at all. Yeah, I went through all the subquests to gather information. It really does sound like I'm not the first person to experience this, and I can just wait 24 hours game time and another guard will spawn to take me away to jail.
I'm on the same quest, but the guards there are just standing next to the body. They aren't saying a thing to me. I've tried to speak to them and just get one of their generic canned guard responses.
EDIT: According to the wiki, I can just wait 24 hours and another guard will show up to move...
(Apologies if I misspelled the name of the city - the coffee hasn't kicked in and my memory is still a bit foggy.)
POSSIBLY SPOILER-ISH!!!
I arrived in Markath for a DB quest and got embroiled in the conflict with the Forsworn. I saw the woman murdered as I entered the town, and then was...
What about sneaking in the wild when hunting deer/elk or to line up an ambush on some wolves? Does it increase your sneak if you're doing that or is it only when other people are involved?
