I think since you have to go through an entire questline with them, it feels more like you're getting to know them. Though I don't marry either of them. My characters like the ones that can't be married. They must be masochists too, because they tend to pursue the villains. A few of my...
Ulfric and Molag Bol are probably my favorites.
I also like the really crazy ones, like Cicero and Sheogorath. It's not that those two voices sound that great, but I can certainly appreciate those voice acting skills. Hmm, I can't think of any female characters whose voices I like. Astrid maybe?
I can never get far in any of the crafting skills. No matter how much I roleplay I just can't see it as anything other than grinding.
Like most people have mentioned, pickpocketing is another one. Though I'd love to try the trick where you kill a briar heart by pickpocketing it.
All the...
Like others, I love archery. I tend to stay away from sniping though, it gets too easy. Instead I go for a combat archer, with little sneaking involved. I also like to play an illusionist thief, using illusion and alteration primarily.
I play xbox, so I can't give advice for mods. I will tell you that both illusion and conjuration are extremely powerful at higher levels. Conjuration because you can summon strong allies. Illusion can turn enemies against each other or calm them, though you have to invest heavily in it to be...
The Rift is my favorite. The wilderness in the area is pretty, and reminds me of autumn. Riften itself is also nice; I love the docks with the canal running through the town. My least favorite is the Pale. I spend as little time there as possible. Someone else beat me to this answer I see.
Not that I actually would support the guy, but Molag Bol does have one of the sexiest video game voices I've ever heard.
I personally like Sheogorath and Hermaeus Mora. Sheogorath is just cool. Hermaeus Mora beause I'm a bookworm, though I'm not as obsessive about learning random secrets like...
Altmer are probably my favorite. The lore is interesting. And all the arrogant ones in game usually make me laugh more than annoy me. Bosmer are a close second. With the wood elves of other fantasy titles being all vegetarian, I found the cannibalistic nature of the bosmer to be very interesting.
I'd like the quests to be a bit closer to the Oblivion style. When you became the leader of a guild, you earn it. And once you become leader of a guild, I'd like more to happen. Maybe you have to find recruits. Just something other than a title. I would like a bit more interaction with your...
If you've played thieves and have no interest in mages, you could try warrior. They can be light or heavy armor. For weapons I prefer either a two handed weapon or a one handed weapon and a shield. Shields are actually really fun in this game. You have to time your blocking and can bash people...
-My lasting warrior builds are always female. I guess I just like the "Brienne of Tarth" mindset.
-My archers are always male.
-I love altmer lore. However due to my height in real life (short), I just can't stick with a character that tall. I'm trying to get over it.
-I prefer all my builds to...
I think you need to give a little bit more information. What types of play styles have you already tried out? What did you like or dislike about these play styles? For race, I always pick the ones with the lore I find most fascinating. And since any race can succeed at any play style this...
I like the Dark Brotherhood. I just wish they hadn't killed off most of the characters again. I also really like the thieves guild, despite my dislike of Karliah and that you can't side with Mercer. The Companions would be better if it took longer to join the circle, and I didn't really feel...
I'm not sure why the alteration bar would be half full if you have never actually cast an alteration spell... I have never heard of a passive way to level alteration, though perhaps you have found one.
As for the second part of your question, the only way to level a skill without trainers or...
I agree with many points you made about vampirism. It just has too many drawbacks unless I'm really up for some roleplaying, which is why I limit it to one of my characters. It does also work better for him as he is heavily invested into necromancy.
I've never actually tried the ritual stone...
Remember parseltongue from Harry Potter? I loved that, and had hoped Harry would use it a lot more than he did. If I had parseltongue I would talk to snakes as often as possible! Sadly he barely used the amazing ability at all. So now for online usernames, I use parselmagic; Because reptiles are...
