Thrall Thread : Living with the dead

I love the Unofficial Patches, as they fix the absorption thing (among many bugs =P) Though I agree that absorption is probably not worth the hassle if you are a summoner of any kind. Ideally your summons will be tanking for you. Plus it gives off a little flavor, with a vulnerable chess king...

    Second Thoughts...

I agree with Pendalyn. I know many RPGs typically give assassins the highest base melee DPS. The problem is, those games usually don't have a real stealth system outside of "backstab = extra damage" so they have to give the stealth character (who usually has low defense) some pros. Assassins...

My robe wearing mage was utterly destroyed by enemies that couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag and I was sure that I was wandering in the wrong areas, since I had...

    You know you're addicted when...

When you use the phrase "what in Oblivion?!" more often than you'd want to admit. When you say "gods" not because you are a polytheist or even religious, but because you heard it often in Skyrim.

    Your "wow" moments.

I'd only play Oblivion before Skyrim, and even then, not very much. So my first wow moment was during the intro attack in Helgen. Just seeing the various guards around me try to fight this almighty dragon. The game felt very alive. My next one came soon after, when I escaped Helgen and first...
