Yeah, that's kind of what my goal is. But I just don't what perks to invest in, what factions to join, and really I don't know how to play with the same vigor of someone who'd never played before.
A little background first. I started playing skyrim sometime in late 2012 after all the DLCs were already out and most people hadstrong characters. I have been playing since then, but have never really gotten past level 40 on a single character. I just seem to get bored of my different builds...
Wow, I can't believe all this time my armour rating has been doing nothing against magic. That's completely BS if you ask me. EDIT: I mean that I think Bethesda should have given at least a little bit of magic resistance to armour.
But I really would prefer not to sacrifice precious...
Hey guys, I know this has probably been touched on before, but I'm seriously wondering why mages are so damn powerful in this game-specifically NPC mages.
So earlier I was traveling down a road somewhere and walked by this fort. There were a few guys hanging out so I went over to kill them...
Is it possible for the 'stolen' tags to go away in there? I killed poor Drelas and was hoping to be able to live there, but it wouldn't let me sleep or take his stuff.
I came across a peice of lore one time (maybe the Argonian account?) that mentioned the Nagas, which are basically a bunch of badass Argonians who commit lots of crimes.
So basically you could make an argonian burglar and just kill travelers. :)
Hey guys,
So I'd like to take a break from all my quests and stuff and just go out in the woods somewhere and hunt stuff. This would preferably be somewhere far away from civilization, not completely covered in snow- and it would be awesome if there was a place to live. So yeah.. anyone here...
You might enjoy roleplaying a forsworn. All you really have to do is the Markarth jail quest, and live in one of their camps in the reach, but you can build an army of followers if you'd like, and dress them all up in forsworn armour.
You'll definitley need a follower, maybe just use sneak and archery.
As long as your stamina is up, you can just run away when in danger.
EDIT: Didn't see that you said unarmed. In that case, play as kajit. And go for those melee sneak attacks.
Windhelm is a relatively dark city, so you shouldn't have a problem finding an alley to 'take care of business' in.
Alternatively, you could sneak into their house late at night and put an arrow in one of 'em while they sleep.
Expert is the best. Why? Because its the most realistic.
The "difficulty level system is controlled by damage ratios- this is probably the worst level system I've ever come across. Yes, it sucks.
Expert difficulty is the only level that allows both you and enemies to both take and deal the...
I've lived in giant camps before, but typically I don't go too long without messing with my stuff, so it doesn't reset.
Kinda off topic, but has anyone here been able to use Drelas' cottage? Its a really good home for a mage, but it always says I'm trespassing when I'm inside.
In Windhelm, the nords force all of the dunmer to live in a tiny slum.
Most of these nords are, in fact, stormcloaks.
There is a fine line between nationalism and racism, and this definitely crosses that.
From responses gathered here, it seems like a lot of people will literally kill them on sight. The thalmor typically give a warning to back off, just like the imperials and stormcloaks who roam around.
Really, I don't see what makes them any better or worse than the stormcloaks. They're both...
No, I mean the Thalmor. It was said above that they are a minority, so its likely that they are doing whatever they can to survive.
They might not be the nicest race (I say race because they consider themselves pure blood) out there, but they have a backbone, that's for sure. Kill or be killed.
