there's gotta be something they could of done about those console load screens. I would be willing to go with a 3 disc game rather than those damn load screens.
I don't think the godhood of Talos is the important thing but only the fact that he exists as a being. I think any culture's belief in an existing being means he or she is truly an existing being. Anything else would lack credibility in universe.
Something else about Redguards as they appear in skyrim... Arabesque garb doesn't necessarily mean Arab culture. Sub-Saharan Africans who used trade routes across the Sahara wore garb like that to survive the Sahara--not to take on Arab culture. Unlike other parts of Africa in the middle ages...
It's interesting that the Altmer are from Somerset Isles yet there accent is nothing like Somerset England. The typical Somerset English accent is more like pirates.
Back when I played the MMO City Of Heroes. There was a dude on my server who made a super hero called Homo Superior. Dude had a brilliant pink outfit with a heart on his chest, a pink cape, and short shorts.
Anybody that has an issue with him "deserving" to die had better not be a Dark Brotherhood member! The Blades give you a contract, and whomever gives you a contract--in there eyes the target "deserves" to die.
Redguards actually seem like North Africans, West Africans in the days of their Medieval Empires, and Southeast Africans in the days of the Swahili city-states. Swahili is a trade language which is half Arabic and half Southeast African.
Also, I think the Akivir are meant to be reminiscent of...
In other games, there is a penalty in casting when you wear armour. Those games force you into the archetype. In fact, even in some Star Wars games, there is an armour penalty to using the Force. Obviously, Bethesda emphasizes freedom more than other games.
I think in the first mage quest dungeon there is a strong duagr that will chase you into a circular room. No unaided enemy can survive me in a circular room. On my first high difficulty playthrough with no follower I had to run-heal spell-hit-rum-heal spell-hit for a good 10 minutes.
If you wait out in the open for several days at a time you can come down with ataxia. This actally happened to me trying to wait 10 days for the inviible chest to respawn items in Dawnstar.
You might already know this, but you can level up destruction when you fight Vilkas. As long as you keep shooting destruction, the quest will never end. It only ends when you strike him with melee. But you are probably past that point LOL.
