    Spoiler Vampire Lord/Castle Volkihar

First off, apologies if this has been asked before. I've been playing on the dawnguard side and just did the soul cairn quest at which point I had Serana turn me into a vampire so I could enter. Because I didn't accept the "gift" from Harkon himself, when I finish the quest line, will I still...

    Lydia haters unite

I honestly don't use followers a whole lot, but I sometimes take Jordis out - she's excellent help against dragons and the housecarl from Markarth does pretty well too, from the occasions I've taken him along on a quest.

Xbox 360 Lockpicking Bug - Need Help!

Okay cheers for that! I'm actually left-handed too. Maybe it has something to do with it. I'll check out ebay for a new one.

    Fair enough :)

    Lydia haters unite

For my part, I got Lydia at the beginning of the game, so at that point my character was equally weak, but even then she was still getting killed every five minutes. Your telling us to quit complaining as she was free... aside from that we are merely expressing opinions (heaven forbid!) may I...

    Funny Glitches

Ever come across a glitch that just made you laugh? For instance, I did a quest for an npc in Riften once and since then he remains stuck on the floor outside of Whiterun stables with no legs. It's so comical to see a head and torso on the ground talking to me as if nothing were wrong. Since...

    The Great Cheese Heist

I did try the cooking feature for a while after I got my first house in Whiterun, but I agree it's upstaged by what potions can do. The only time food has come in handy was in the middle of a boss fight when I ran out of potions and needed a tiny boost, not that it really made a whole lot of...

    Lydia haters unite

She did my head in a bit with her attitude. She got in the way all the time, picked unnecessary fights all the time, and generally just kept dying in pretty basic quests. I couldn't be bothered reloading saves all the time so eventually I just let her die. She was not sadly missed LOL

Xbox 360 Lockpicking Bug - Need Help!

Ok so I tried my other xbox controller. The second controller did not solve the problem entirely but the problem was improved a fair bit. The problem still happens a LOT but not as much as with the other controller. Lockpicking is still a time-consuming pain in the proverbial but the feature is...

Xbox 360 Lockpicking Bug - Need Help!

It does sound like that could be the issue. I hadn't thought of that. I'm on xbox and I do have another controller so I'll give that a shot tomorrow and let you know what happens. Thanks for the input :)

Xbox 360 Lockpicking Bug - Need Help!

I've scoured the web for solutions too and so far I've only come across one other person who is also experiencing this glitch. I ended up having to turn the game off completely today because this is becoming such a big problem.

Xbox 360 Lockpicking Bug - Need Help!

Hi everyone, Sorry if this has been posted before. I have a problem with the lockpicking feature and it's really starting to do my head in. For some reason, the lockpicks just break immediately as soon as I press the A button to enter the lockpicking option on the relevant lock without me...

what hairy FAT creatures you hate fighting the most

Wolves and other random creatures you come across in the wilderness. They usually choose the time when I'm trying to get somewhere in a hurry. Right pain in the you know what!

    Favorite Shout/Way to use it?

The fire breath shout has been the most fun by far, especially using it to ignite oil on the floor and watching multiple enemies keel over and die, although it is fun to Fus Ro Dah and watch enemies fall off bridges/cliffs

No sporting games or gambling in Skyrim?

I think the closest I've seen was the dungeon/crypt where the baddies had an arena and had wolves or something fighting each other. I can't quite remember exactly where now. As far as sports that could have been included - I'm disappointed I can't go fishing :D That could even have its...

    Your "wow" moments.

I agree too, Markarth is amazing and the quests you get in this city... definitely wow! Funny thing happened while playing Skyrim today - first time I've ever seen a dragon prefer to attack small frostbite spiders instead of my character, who is continually shooting arrows at it. That made me...

    Your "wow" moments.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum so I have a few "wow" moments I'd like to contribute. First of all, Labyrinthian for me is a totally incredible place. The graphics are amazing both in the interior of the ruin and outside. I've been back several times just to look around and still get lost in...
