I tend to use the become etheral shout to jump down mountains faster and not get hurt.....well the embarassing part is when i used it to jump from the college of winterhold and the shout wore off before i hit the ground....splat...Argonian pancake
My Orc's name is Grom Skullhammer, he sports long hair and a full beard and you guessed it...he uses warhammers in devastating style. There is nothing he likes more than slamming his hammer into his foes and crushing bones.
I did the same thing...but I went dual wield from the start. I think using dual wield power attacks and the warrior stone...your one hand will go up pretty fast. Not to mention in the Helgen part where you have to sneak past the bear, you can hit your companion repeatedly to lvl your one handed...

Just shoot arrows out until they finally start flying out normally. May take more than 10 arrows to work (pretty annoying if your'e low on arrows, i had to use my last elf arrows)...
I used to think I had to do every quest that presented itself to me...but after being here I see that they are all really just options for different play/character styles. I can have a nice Nord hero to help the Stormcloaks and maybe become Thane of Stormcloak controlled cities, or be an evil...
