    they are natural born vampires, but there is no reliable lore that states how that effects them. I took it to mean they require the blood to rejuvenate fully. But that they might not be effected by light, the need to feed all the time, etc.

    apparently... but there can be ways to deal with it and not have to be over the top with I am a vampire all the time. Plus there is some doubt as to whether they are effected by daylight, and the need to feed or just more eaters of men.

    He is not possessed so much as empowered by a daedra of good As long as he is righting wrongs he is given these gifts when he feels doubts that's more like being cursed. I am trying to formulate it all so others understand. He would be compelled to try to save your character, to right wrongs.
