Someone will probably start to try to mod Morrowind and Oblivion in the new game, but it will probably die before it is born. Crazy spells are generally pretty fun mods.
I was sad that there wasn't a strong werewolf presence in Oblivion. I hope they add them somehow in this one. But truthfully, Twilight has ruined some of that type of stuff for me.
I know that this slightly off the point, but I hate how Bethesda has jumped on the pre-order bonus bandwagon. I hope that they don't go the "ton of small (lame) DLCs" route and stick to good, full expansions.
I'm not sure how dragons are going to work out in an ES game. The combat in the previous ones has been less that stellar (even though I love the games). It will be interesting to see how fighting them goes. I'd like to ride one as well.
I'm bad at the whole roleplaying thing. I prefer to keep that to my D&D sessions. In games like this, I generally just want to become a legit warrior. So... not very immersed, I guess.
Ah, now I see where the idea for your character types came from. I just have to wonder how much time you have on your hands that you can journal in real life about a game you are playing. Are there any positions open at whatever job you have?
I agree with n3w. Don't jump right into the main story. I always start out just by exploring around a bit and trying a few dungeons. Then maybe find a town and look for some easy quests.
Eventually, you have to look into mods, if you get it for pc. If the modding is like anything is has been...
I usually like playing a Redguard first. I've never put this much thought into my character. Generally I just pick a type of weapon/magic. Do you really try to play as some specific character, hex? I just try to do what I want while I play.
