Recently I've switched to a new PC, and upon first starting up Skyrim again, I noticed that there was a major new graphical anomaly. Specifically, upon going into third-person view and changing the camera angle, everything gets grainy and pixelated as long as I'm moving the camera. As long as...
The Dwemer are a mix of Egyptian (giant head motifs and golden armor) and Aztec (architecture). In addition, Keening, a Dwemer artifact, has a heavy Aztec influence to its design.
That works out great! I already have 7 dragon bones from a non-MQ dragon I killed, so now I'll just take all of the dragon scales I need from the shrine (my character worships Akatosh anyways, so it'll work out RP-wise). Thanks!
My character is an antihero: a Snow Elf torn by his centuries-old hatred for Nords, he joined the Vokihar to be able to exact revenge on those who have wronged him. Backstory here: Tears of the Falmer | Skyrim Forums
For every single one of my playthroughs so far, I have kept the dragons out of my game for most of it; I've had it so that the first dragon I encountered was an ancient dragon, I started that late in the game. Speaking of which, does anyone know a way to get dragon scales/encounter dragons...
I sided with the imperials on my first playthrough; after killing ulfric I stripped his clothes and strolled around windhelm in them, and then finished all of my incomplete quests wearing nothing but his clothes (no armor bonus) and an iron battleaxe:cool:
I play on pc. When I disabled all of my mods, it was still bugged. I cleaned all of my mods using TES5Edit and used BOSS, but it's still broken. I'll try making a new game without any mods so I can see if that fixes it.
Since my Skyrim can't take screenshots for some inexplicable reason, here's the pictures offered by the author for the bow and battleaxe:

He's an archer, and uses an Ancient Falmer Bow from a mod. His main magic school is Illusion, and I'm also going for Heavy Armor and two-handed for the aforementioned "up close and personal" situations, although I find it's usually more effective to switch to vampire lord.
So the other day I was trying to make some poisons at an alchemy workbench. However, when I activate it, my character stops moving for a split second, and is from then on unable to go into first person ever again. I never enter the alchemy screen, and this happens to every single crafting...
Have you ever played Runescape? There, it's just grinding. Over and over. Some of the minigames are fun, though.
P.S. I was thinking of doing the up-to-level 20 free trial of WoW, should I?
Actually, since Hermaeus Mora is rumored to be involved in the DLC, it is possible that the influence we see on the helmet is his, and not a falmer one. That, combined with what prof said, would make a lot more sense than an isolated cult of Snow Elves.
I suggest a summoner character, personally; necromancers stop being able to reanimate things as the enemies level with them, so the higher your level the less effective you are at combat. Pretty much all mage characters have that flaw, so if you wish to go that route perhaps you can level one...
ThriceHeart That is very likely, considering that the DLC will occur on the island that they inhabit. I think that there will be at least one major quest involving the skaal
