PS4 Is participation in the Civil War needed???

I will say there is one advantage to joining the Companions -- Beast Blood ... 100% resistance to all diseases. (You WILL need to be cured before you can become a vampire, and it can only be done a few times without console commands) So -- you hate getting Brain Rot from hagravens? Don't like...

PS4 Is participation in the Civil War needed???

Thanedom will be revoked in a few, but it's not a big deal - just do one little quest for the Jarl and help a few people again.

PS4 Is participation in the Civil War needed???

Again -- can't be thane of Windhelm until AFTER the war. Liberation (or Unification) is the last quest before you can apply for Thanedom.

PS4 Is participation in the Civil War needed???

You CAN'T be a Thane of all NINE holds until after the quest "Liberation of Skyrim" (if, as you've decided, you're a true Son of Skyrim) or "Unification of Skyrim" (if you're one of those Imperial milk-drinkers...) is over. As for armor (and my "stop anything in its tracks and 1-shot a giant or...

    PC Spellsword armor mod bug?

So ... I used NiceDoughnut991's "Spellsword Armor" mod. Thought it'd be nice having an ebony set of mage armor ... Made the equipment, but none of it showed up in my inventory after leaving the forge -- and to top that off, all my ebony ore and ingots (over 60 of each!) are gone! H e l p.

PS4 Is participation in the Civil War needed???

Nah. Just get armor that's got good elemental resistance, prepare to take a few fireballs or lightning bolts to the face, and you can whip most of them pretty easily. The only ones I'd say watch out for are both tied to major questlines -- MOROKEI (College of Winterhold - STAFF OF MAGNUS quest)...

    WHO THE **** VOICES HARKON?!?!

Dagon AND Molag Bal have cool weapons LOL ... The only Daedric quest that totally SUCKS is The Break of Dawn. (and by that I mean I have to have that dimpled egg in my inventory until i'm leveled up enough to defeat Malkoran and his shades. ... and this is me saying I still hate Meridia's quest...

    WHO THE **** VOICES HARKON?!?!

Victor Raider-Wexler ... I'll take "Actors from Skyrim I REALLY wanna meet" for $200, Alex . . . one of the coolest Daedric quests ever. That mace made me UNSTOPPABLE.

Can't train with Vipir The Fleet

You can only *TRAIN* with people up to level *90*. Then you're on your own the last 10 levels.

    Mod idea: Mining explosions

Interesting. I also have a mod installed that DOES give xp for mining, as well as for using the tanning racks, workbenches, forges, etc. . . might work with those. I'll have to look up my mod list later and let you know.

    Today I Learned . . .

. . . that there is a direct entrance to the CELLAR of the Nightgate Inn (where you go to assassinate Balagog-gro-Nolob, a/k/a THE GOURMET, towards the end of the Dark Brotherhood questline) on the ground outside the back of the inn - Hence why the DB tells you it's a good idea to dump the body...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

A LITTLE BIT?! Even Taarie at Radiant Raiments in Solitude is less of one. (And her sense of fashion isn't that great either.) The other Jarls (I use that phrase because Maven can BECOME one) have just as much power and influence. All Maven's got to add to that is a bunch of has-been thieves...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

No, but I gave General Tullius an arrow in the knee ... hehe.

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Maven's stuck-up, "holier-than-thou" attitude gets on my nerves SOOOOOOOOO much. That's yet ANOTHER reason I join the Stormcloaks!

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Interesting that you mention Ysmir ... the last part of the Greybeards' recognition of the new Dragonborn is "You are Ysmir now - Dragon of the North ... hearken to it" ... as it is a TITLE, not just their name for Talos of Atmora.)
