Have fun with your new build! I have still yet to play an Orc. Have you played this race before? I just can't seem to get passed the fangs sticking up from their bottom jaw in their mouth....

when I go more warrior builds I always go Orc because yes they are ugly but they have the Beserker Rage ability which doubles their damage while halving enemy damage it's the same as most magic builds I always go High Elf just for the 50 extra magic in beginning and Khajiit for sneak classes due to night eye lol I'm kinda racist but with a reason

LuChao has played EVERY race and (almost) every build more than once!

I actually recommend playing as an orc. For Rp gameplay, its really cool to get yourself set up in a 'home' stronghold. help your people, get taught smithing, have a couple brawls. Maybe after getting an orc follower, you could travel to the other Strongholds and help them out. get the Volundrung warhammer... maybe settle down and take an orc wife/hubby...

Also have it so that your a bit distrusted around the cities. maybe you have to do a few odd jobs outside the city walls to get trusted enough to be let in. Or do some bounty missions for the Jarl before you can trade with the city merchants...

It can get pretty immersive if you take it slow and get in the frame of mind.

I feel like playing as an Orc now :p

No, makes sense, you are a racist with a purpose. I was going to have my next character be an Orc and do some one-handed, dual wielding, heavy armor, smithing, and for once in my life, actually ditch sneaking. I have never played any of my characters without sneaking, no matter what type. So that will be a huge change for me.

There was an Orc Shaman/Warrior build floating around that sounded like a lot of fun - - Lots of warpaint, blind in one eye, Mohawk hair etc. He wore Forsworn Armor, wielded a Forsworn Warhammer (the big ugly one with the skull as the hammer-head) and used Smithing and Alchemy (poisons and healing mainly). Eventually added Conjuration I think (for dark zombie voodoo!).

I just started a very similar build today. I decided to create my Rp character, GroBenjii. He is a very large Orc with dark dreadlocks and a Chaotic Good nature.

He is NOT dragonborn.

Primary Skills - One-handed (dual wield), light armour (the shirtless fur armour with the white fur over shoulders), Smithing

Secondary Skills - Two-handed (I plan to get Volundrung), Archery, Enchanting (eventually)

NO pickpocketing, lockpicking, sneaking or other magic.

The first objective of GroBenjii is to visit all the Orc Strongholds and do all the related quests (leaving the Volundrung quest last). This will give me a good variety of Orc followers and a Rp friendly place to sleep and smith.

I will than slowly get aquainted with the Jarl of Markarth (doing mercenary work), than help out those citizens with the goal of becoming Thane of Markarth (something Iv never achieved).

I plan to get him married to Borgakh the Steel Heart (from Mor Khazgur) after a little while.

My first main character Torak was an Orc. They have the best racial ability period (only rivaled by the High Elf passive for mages), great starting stats for warriors (heavy armor, two handed, one handed, block, smithing, enchanting), and easy early-game access to one of the only ebony mines in Skyrim. I had an absolute blast with him.

He joins the Legion, up until message for Whiterun. Kills all Stormcloaks he comes across. Repay the blood price owed to the Legion by the Orcs, cause you settle your debts.

I was thinking about joining the legion at a later stage in Benjii's life. Perhaps after marriage though. Ghorbash the Iron Hand (from Dushnikh Yal) is a potential follower and he was telling Benjii earlier today that he had done some service with legion. He wussed out of coming on another adventure with with my Orc when he asked him, so GroBenjii called him a milk drinker.

Things got a little heated and they ended up having a brawl, to which Ghorbash was beaten to the ground. He is now happy to come adventuring with Benjii, and may assist in some of the Legions missions :p

Orcs and the Legion go well. Especially in the Fourth Era, when their Kingdom was attacked by Hammerfell and High Rock, the 7th and 15th Legions stepped in to help the Orcs. Putting themselves into harms way against the forces of Bretons and Redguards, they aided the Orcs and escorted many refugees into Skyrim. Many more Orcs would of died if it weren't for those two Legions.

Good point with the ebony mine(s)... I forgot about that benefit of Orc Strongholds.
