Kohlar the Unkilled

Time for some ale
Ankano. There is no explanation need.

My second least favorite individual in Skyrim:

Brynjolf.

I don't even love to hate these two. I simply despise them.

Maven was...until I learned the setessential command. (whistles innocently to self)

Maven, naturally.

Braith, the annoying little fluff in Whiterun.

Balgruuf's brats, especially the one who says I'm just another adventurer who's come to lick his father's boots.

Astrid - no one likes a traitor. Also, she abuses her authority, disrespects the Tenets, and attempted to sell me out. Yeah, no love there.

I never took more pride in ending someone's life in the game than that sonuvabitch Ancano. What a f-ing weasel.

Well ain't that the million dollar question. There are so many douches in Skyrim I think Alduin has the right idea  But if I had to chose my top 5 would be, in no particular order:

Maven Black Briar, the condescending old Hagraven is the only problem I have with signing up with the Legion.

Ancano, he and Maven would make a great couple methinks.

Mercer Frey, as if being a double crosser wasn't enough he's lousy at what he does and has the nerve to tell you how to do things. Don't set off any traps he says as he sets one off

Braith, one of the several kids who make me wish for an XBox mod to kill children.

And last but not least, Delphine. Ugh, I just can't.

Delphine is the main reason why I hate the blades. That and killing Paarth. She's one arrogant fluffer. :/

Not really. Delphine is just a rude hag. :/ she didn't set the Dragonborn on his/her destiny anymore than the greybeards did, in my opinion. If anything the GB were more helpful in training the thu'um, something the blades couldn't do, and the blades were helpful discovering information about Alduin, if I push it. I'm sure Paarthurnax would have eventually told the Dragonborn everything alduin's wall did.

I don't know really, I just know for me, Delphine killed it for me. Her attitude just made me want to set her on constant fire. Or fus her into a giant or off a cliff.

Well for the last thirty years, she's had her friends killed and she's constantly being hunted like an animal. I would have lost my manners in her situation, too.

But would you risk being rude to the Dragonborn, the one person who can stop Alduin? Or, you know, blast you off a cliff/set you on fire/freeze you solid with a simple shout?

I understand her reasoning, and your logic, but at the same time, the blades were sworn to protect the Dragonborn, not give him/her ultimatums or be arrogant to.

Sky haven temple: when I hadn't immediately used my blood to open the lock, she so helpfully volunteered to do it for me. Nope, can't like her for that. Protector/friend of the Dragonborn? Yeah right.

Two hundred years ago, they were sworn to protect the Dragonborn Emperor. Delphine and the new Blades who are now Dragonslayers, not bodyguards. They don't actually swear an oath to you, or to protect you. Technically speaking, they seek to guide you. Which they did with Alduin's wall. Paarthurnax wouldn't have seen you, the Greybeards wouldn't have allowed it unless you came to them with the information about Alduin's wall. Or have waited enough time until you were ready, by which world would probably have ended.

A group of dragon slayers, telling you to kill a dragon or you can no longer be part of them, because it would be against their new oaths. Is quite reasonable.

Once again, very true. However, I still say it's Delphine's attitude that puts people off from the Blades. If it were simply Esbern leading the Blades, I'd be fine with that. I wouldn't have a problem. I'd kill Paarthy in a second. Why? Because Esbern treats the Dragonborn with respect.

I like to think her attitude is because she is hurting, being angry for thirty years would make her quite bitchy.

"Do you ever think about them, Esbern? The others?" - Delphine

"The other Blades? No. Best not to think what the Thalmor do to their victims, my dear." - Esbern

Delphine is a bitch. She's got good reasons to be a bitch, and I can sympathize with her plight, but that doesn't make her any less an unlikable bitch. And never underestimate the ability for gamers to take offense to being given ultimatums by obsolete nobodies during the course of saving the entire world and every mortal soul in it."

"This dragon is single-wingedly responsible for mankind overthrowing the rule of the Dragon Cult, teaching the Voice to humans, and has basically been guarding the door to Alduin's cell for all of recorded history while preaching a pacifist creed and conquering his own evil nature. Kill him because he once did bad things so long ago that no mortal can possibly still be affected by them. And if you don't chop-chop and do what I say, I'm gonna totally ignore how I know that you're the only hope of stopping Alduin and sulk in my sweet new temple. That you opened up for me. And then I won't talk to you anymore, so there. Nyah."

"The Blades are wise not to trust me." - Paarthurnax

Paarthurnax, doesn't fault the Blades. The Blades are following their oaths, they've gone back to being Dragon slayers. Them wanting to slay Paathurnax isn't anything different. Dragonguard wanted to slay him too. It isn't black and white, Paarthurnax isn't completely peaceful, nor is he good. Bethesda's theme seems to be the grey area when it comes to split choices in Skyrim.

Paarthurnax taught the voice to three people or it was Kyne depending on which is correct, but he didn't help mankind overthrow the Dragons. He left them to their fate, he didn't stand with them. Mankind created their own shout, and used an elder scroll to get rid of Alduin. The Akaviri killed majority of dragons. Paarthurnax betrayed Alduin, then he joined mankind after Alduin's defeat.

1. (most) MAVEN!!!! I hate that bitch so much, with a deep passion. I wish I could kill her over and over again by making her a dead thrall and then murdering her once more.
2. Mercer Fray from TG. Do I really need to say why? Unless you haven't played TG, then you should and see what happens.
3. Ancano, like you said, because he's such a cocky, power-hungry dick. Plus he is ungodly ugly.
4. The Jar's kids in Whiterun and that little girl that threatens to beat your ass every time you walk by, also in Whiterun.

I can't stand Serana (sp?) Her constant complaining irritated me five minutes into the journey. Don't know why so many people like her, all her dialogue is bitching. If I wanted that, I'd get married. :p

W'rkncacnter

Mister Freeze
The entire College of Winterhold...

Ancano takes the cake being the biggest jerk. But at least I understand his motivations.

Savos, in addition to his rather disagreeable past, never lifts a finger to stop the events put in motion by Saarthal. Instead he keeps sending his newest student, you, to brave the dangers of Skyrim alone. I was rather pleased when he passed on.

Tolfdir sends you on ahead. . .alone into what he knows are draugr infested catacombs (since you just killed a number of them) while he examines the architecture. And guess what. It is your first day at the college! Either he has confidence in abilities you haven't proven to him yet or he is trying to kill you off. Then after you clear the path he saunters up and tells you to wait for him.

Urag sends you (alone again) into a nest of angry mages to recover a set of books that no one bothered to recover before. I expect that is because they were waiting for some patsy to come along that they could pawn the job off on.

Mirabelle sends you to Labyrinthian alone. Against frost trolls, draugr, skeletal dragons, and a dragon priest. Granted, I don't think she knew those things were there, but she could have at least sent Faralda with you (or instead of you).

Really, it's no wonder you are named archmage at the end of the questline. The entire school is run by a bunch of lazy do-nothings. The only quest you get much help with is clearing the anomalies out of Winterhold. Even if you only know a single spell you would be better fit to run the institution than the current staff.

And for the final insult, not only do they continue to charge you for training and spell books as archmage, but they refuse to even sell you the higher level spells until you "prove" yourself to them! You, the one who just saved them from untold disaster and was named archmage by a group of ultra-powerful mystics thought to be long gone, now have to prove yourself to them? It's too much.

I'd drop the entire college into the sea if I could. . .but they won't sell me the spell book.

Maven Black-Briar. I cannot stand her, and for some reason she's an essential NPC. Why Bethesda made a crook like her become Jarl after the War is beyond me. She should be assassinated or something.

I think there was more going on for her, because I had broken in her home one day when no one was in, and found a Master locked room with the mats for the Dark Brotherhood inside. She had also sent thugs after the Dragonborn at one time or another.
