For me, it's a Draugr Deathlord Archer, or worse, two or three at once. The ones with ebony bows and arrows.

I'm level 81 on Master difficulty, 800 health, fully enchanted, well over armor cap, sword and shield warrior with all block perks, magic resistance capped, my sword hits for 518 damage and my bow hits for ~325.

I bring down ancient dragons in one Dragonrend shout and three power attacks from my sword and their breath barely tickles.

...but Deathlord Archers are a problem. Arrows must ignore armor or something, because they hit me like a truck. Three shots and I'm dead or close, and they can hit me at 500 yards while sprinting with a FusRoDah that sends me sailing fifty feet through the air and leaves me completely helpless to defend or dodge the arrows. They have like 90% accuracy, too. They also take like five or six of my arrows to put down, so if I can't get to one in melee range, it's going to be a long battle. I very rarely die, but when I do, it's always a damned archer deathlord.

I finally completed the main quest last night, and at one point, outside Skuldafn, I was fighting three at once from multiple angles and levels in an outdoor setting. It took me like 40 minutes to defeat them. It was like 1000X harder than Alduin, who went down in like five swings later that evening.

What enemy gives you the most trouble?

I know that there are some people who have there character up to a godlike status. Myself at level 43, i will encounter enemies who force me to turn and run. This may seem funny but I loath the Forsworn. They attack me on sight, there have have times they come after me while I'm engaging a dragon, or another enemy. Taking on 2 or 3 is not an issue but they always seem to attack me in far superior numbers, at least 6 or 7. They are skilled combatants who take my level 74 one handed attacks or level 78 archery attacks like I was swatting at flies. For my character at level 43 they are a more difficult adversary than, dragons, frost trolls, or dragon priests. Keep in mind that I only fight with found or bought weapons, while I wear found or bought armor. I do not enchant, other than to sell what I make. Sometimes, motivated by bloodlust and vengence, I stage assaults on forsworn villages, either as a human or in beast form, during these times I may be able to kill 10 or 12 but I still always lose to the Forsworn.

Mudcrabs.... (Shudders)

But really, i agree on the Draugr Deathlord Archers. They mess me up bad, way worse than anything else.

The exact situation you just describes was by far the hardest fight i've had in the game as well.

Even at level 81, in my "godlike" legendary enchanted armor, high-level Forsworn archers and dual-wielding Briarhearts are very strong, and can actually kill me if I'm not playing defensively enough. Dual-wielding Briarhearts can cut me down in a few seconds if I don't see them coming or forget to raise my shield.

So yeah, the Forsworn are up there.

ehhh i dont know what it is, but forswon and deathlord achers dont bother me.. nothing really bothers me,
i just run up to them (deathlord achers) and completly smash them with my daedric warhammer, gone in 1 power attack or 2 normal swings.

The only real thing i have trouble killing are those god damn rabbits! My chance of hitting them is like 1% there SO hard to kill.

I'd have to agree with everyone else about the Draugr Deathlords and the Forsworn, but at Lvl, DR, those Dragon Priests can give my Orc a run for the money, especially since I'm picky and am waiting to enchant my Full Ebony Armor to get magic resistance.

Bad to the Dragonbone.
Dual wielding Forsworn are definitely nothing to sneeze at. Can't count the times a Briar-heart took me out. Draugr Deathlords wielding ebony anything are a pain.

Trolls are certainly to be feared at low level but my utmost respect goes out to those accursed Chaurus and their big brothers. And the Falmer that are usually with them. Those are some big bad bugs.

Low level- Dwarven Spheres High Level- Dragur deathlords with the disarm shout ANNOYING

I got the glitch, in The World Eaters Eyrie, where the dragons wouldn't attack me. Otherwise the enemies were tough for sure. I think the next time it'd make sense to use Storm Call and carry a ton of paralysis poisons, but Sanguine was a massive help in slowing the Drugar down or distracting them while I ran into a dark corner to heal.
What gets me is just how damn accurate the enemies are. I mean if I fail a sneak i'm tracked impossibly well, the kill shots show ice spikes and arrows as head-shots, easily half the time.. maybe more. I, however have a little trouble targeting an aware/warned enemy, they move.

I got that glitch too. I didn't know it was a glitch at the time though, so i just imagined they were just so scared of me that they couldn't move.:p

I'm lvl 81 fully enchanted dragonscale armor (legit, no exploits), and I've never come across anything that takes me below 50% health, whether in numbers or by themselves. I play on master too, so I really don't understand how people have issues with any of the enemies.

To be honest when playing on master ,master mages , deathlords are a good challange. However one deathlord on a side of a mountain gave me hell on Master kept on fus ra da ing me of the mountain and flying to my death finally got the little B#$@ard with his own medison was satisfying up untill the point i relized i cant loot the bugger .......

I'm only lv.30, but with 100 sneak, 100% muffle I simply sneak up and one shot all death lords. In fact I'm yet to even be attack by any death lord. Not a single one has detected me. I can't just rush in but, still have to cling to the shadows of a room and quietly sneak up behind them.

They can't hit you if they don't know you're there!!!!

High level mages were the worse for me, for sure. They move stupidly fast (it looks pretty ridiculous) and they also rarely miss. Ice Form for them.

Marked for Death works well for Death Lords, if you have the full shout.
