Ulfric, Brynjolf, Neloth, Tullius, Tolfdir... the Companions and maybe one or two of the housecarls are really the only ones on the list up to anything resembling the DB's intensity level. Drives me nutty to imagine any of my DBs marrying some random innkeeper, farmer, smith, etc. What in heck would they *talk* about? "I escorted a vampire princess back to her creepy castle, killed four dragons, wiped out a nest of bandits, and decided the civil war. How was your month, honey?" "... Well, I got in a new shipment of Black-Briar Mead last week..."Add Ralof and Hadvar because you do end up an odd sort of friend if you pick their side and they'd be good travel companions.

For women, I'd agree with the Maven nomination (even if I detest her on every single character), Vex, Serana, the destro trainer at the college perhaps, Astrid, Legate Rikke, Karliah.

Erik the Slayer, for sure. <3

Aww, Erik would make an awesomely adorable husband! Can't you just imagine him drawing you a warm bath and tending to your every whim after a long day on the road? And always with great conversation and an upbeat attitude.

Yeah, I could definitely see him doing sweet things like that, too! Alas, I'm forced to admire him from afar... ;)

So I decided to do the next best thing to marrying Erik, and make him my Steward. He'll always be there to come home to, and he can raise my kids (it's not like I'm going to do it). My BF was indignant about it "His name is 'Erik the Slayer', not 'Erik the Babysitter'. You can't do that to him!". I thought that was pretty darn funny. His new life of chopping wood, cooking and watching out for bandits seems more exciting than when he just waited around in his Da's inn for me to come back. I feel like I did the right thing :)

I gotta go with Serana... what a tease line: "This is beautiful. I'm glad you're here with me."

You know, I'm going to add Cicero. If for no better reason than to see what his marriage dialogue would be. I can't even imagine.
"Why yeeeess, Cicero will cook something for you! It will be... a surprise!"

Just don't adopt any kids if you do.

I'd come home to him squeezed into the children's clothes and the kids would be huddled in a corner.

Shouldn't you be picking Elenwen, Faralda, maybe Viarmo or someone along those lines. You know, in the interest of Altmer racial purity and all ;)

Well the only altmer female you can marry is the 1 in radiant raiment, but you need to invest in her store so it takes ages to get high enough speech, so i use the others to relax after a hard day of killing and torturing talos worshipping filth, I'd never actually breed with those things :p
