It depends on how much you love the game, how much you roleplay in-game and whether or not you can acquire exciting mods. I loved just making different characters with their own backstory and just never fast-travelling. My best memories are of my encounters on the road. Eventually though, even I got bored of it and moved on. With a really cool mod that simulates needs such as hunger, thirst and sleep-deprivation however, I'l be jumping back in soon.
Where can you get mods,or is that only on the PC? Seems kinda Cool, Interesting actually. I Just started pretty much, only level 5 lol, had the game since Christmas but got hooked on Mw3, started playing this and ive been loving it.

Well the mods are PC-only I'm sorry to say. However, if you have a good computer and are willing to do some shady things, you can easily get a free PC version.

Pretty sure there are other ways to finish Blood on the Ice without using Viola. Go check it out at the Skyrim Wiki.
There is no way to finish the quest without Viola. She's an essential NPC for the quest to progress.
