Wearing an amulet of mara for it's restoration buff...And accidentally talking to Lydia

*Still can't bring myself to tell her I never meant for us to be together*

you'll "learn" to love her....
See, this is the reason why I never participate in Skyrim conversations. Apparently I have "bad manners" for posting my Skyrim Embarassments. I don't know about you, but I'm extremely picky about my green bar. It's nearly been 2 years, and I have never gotten a single bad rep. I dislike getting one for no reason at all, especially when I was hardly being rude. Ralof, could you kindly remove the bad manners vote? It was very uncalled for.

I dont know how that happened..didn't even know "bad manners" existed...scouts honor..(not that i was ever a scout)

Thanks Ralof, don't worry about it. I'm glad that you took it off, there are some people in the forum who enjoy using these votes as their weapon. For them, it's "Join my side on this debate, or I'll give you some bad rep". I'm happy you aren't one of those guys :)

I saw a similar conversation once. The person who didn't realise they had given a bad manners rating thought it might have had something to do with the fact they'd been posting on their phone. I've clicked on ads a few times when I've been trying to get back to my browser after using another program, and I'd have never known if the ad didn't take me to another screen. That might have happened here.

My first ever attempt at Bleak Falls Barrows, I looted Arvel of his journal, read it, thought: "Oh I'm so clever! I know exactly what to do with this claw!"

I was all the way to the puzzle door when I realised clever, clever me had left the claw I knew what to do with on Arvel's body. I had to walk all the way back to fetch it.
I've done that exact thing too, made this hot shot bada$$ high elf who was fashioned after a sith lord... got to the puzzle door and realized I had forgot to grab the damn claw, after that I was just fuming so I ended up just deleting the wanna be sith lord

I know the feeling. I used to get all upset about it, but, after 4K posts and only, like, 3, bad posts, I guess it's part of the game. Besides, they usually apologize later not having meant to do it. "Bad manners"? Well... maybe to Lyds, but, hey, she'll get over it. I brought home Meeko to keep her company since she's pretty useless to me at level 35. I don't care how many times she says "stupid dog", I know she luvs him. :)

Not embarrassing as such, but one time when my character joined The Circle, I decided to swipe at a bunch of guards. I went awesome at first, but quickly turned out to be a bad night as my health dropped quickly. I went from "Hahaaaa!" to "plopsplopsplopsplopsplops!"

I've had a few... interesting experiences at that particular point in the questline.
Once I got chased around Jorrvaskr by Vignar Gray-Mane, and another time by Brill.
What they were doing there quite literally in the middle of the night is a mystery.

Most recently I decided to go running around the city (but not attack anyone), however that was cut short by guards, just like your rampage. From the damage I was taking from arrows you could have thought I was playing on Master or something (I was level 40+ though, so the guards were high level as well). It's a good thing you can't get killed at that point. :D

I must edit one funny video from last night. I was testing Shadow play from Nvidia experience. Recording my play. Well I died about THREE times in same spot, last time I walked firerunes, I know that those were there (Of course is was standing very flamable liquid). I just love deadly traps mod, Usually trap will kill instantly lower levels and fire will kill even 425 health. Once Draught shouted that flamepod down from roof, hearing that hit floor, I start running, but I wasnt fast enough.

Ouch...

Playing with my favorite companion, Vilja after a large lunch when I get a small gaseous bubble itching to be released. Since I am the only one in the room, I grant it its freedom. Just then Vilja says "Was that you, want did you eat?" I was not only embarrassed, I was floored.

You want embarrassment? I'll give you humiliation!

I can, and sometimes do, die on the lower difficulties. Once your laughter has died down, I
ll kick myself out

First, I was playing a character of mine that is a pacifist and had not killed anyone, and went to do the quest for the Thieves Guild with Mercer Frey and learned that his kills counted for me.
Second, I decided to cast a calm spell on him and rush by all of the creatures in order to complete the quest before he could kill any of the enemies, but I was met by a door with a claw puzzle and I didn't have the claw...
Third, I redid the above, except went looking all over the place for the claw and could not for the life of me find it ... there never was a claw, Mercer Frey opens the claw door with the skeleton key.
I then gave up and haven't played that character since XD.

Only after reading your post did I realize how exactly Mercer opens the door to SVS and the claw door. I'd always thought he's just really, really good at his "job"...

When I first started playing Skyrim I had never really played another game before. It took me over an hour to kill one of the harder draugers in Black Falls Barrow. I just kept dying! Until I realized I wasn't even hitting him with my sword... I was just sheathing and unsheathing my weapon over and over.... I had to laugh that one out.

Seems to me the quickest route to bad rep is to bad-mouth Paarth. He has quite a loyal following here. :)

I was shopping around Whiterun and saw Lockpicks for 1 septim each. I was so excited by the low price, I bought a lot until I realized that I had just sold all of my lockpicks to the seller rather than buying them. That was why they were so low. I then had to buy them back for 6x the price I had sold them.

I've done that many times. Wait until it happens with black soul gems. Then it REALLY hurts.

I have like 3 negative, 4 neutral. Mainly from those who lose a debate with me.

Though I hardly notice, 2207 positive green bar blocks it from sight. Unless you try hard to find it.

One of my common embarrassments is buying the entire store instead of selling. I did that once and spent perhaps around 20 grand + at the College of Winterhold. Thought I was selling all those master robes.

Well, there's always the classic that I "fall" for all the time. It's called whirlwind sprint, only to find that there is no longer any ground below you, now I know how all of those cartoon characters feel when they accidentally run off a cliff, and look down to see their intimate doom. This really sucks because I'm usually using whirlwind sprint to get somewhere fast and now I have to wait longer for my guy to reload at the last save and then run the whole distance again only to make the same mistake... This is one of those times when I have to take a break from skyrim.
