i have creted two orcs and i personally prefer them to any other race because of their rugged and brutal appearance:eek:

I've yet to make an Orc character but I am planning to make a dual wield character at some point and I'm definitely gonna choose an Orc for it.

I was reluctant at first, I was gonna make a redguard headsman, but then decided that an orc would be better, and I am glad I changed my mind, my character was an orc from a stronghold near falkreath, he would walk into falkreath occasionally to do executions and get supplies for his blood-kin, but one time when he returned he found his stronghold ransacked by a particularly brutal attack and decided to give up being a headsman in favour of being a warrior (as he was by blood), he continued to use axes and adopted the name "The Axeman" (or T. Axeman), nobody knew who he was as a headsman and nobody knows who he is as a warrior, he still keeps his old axe above his bed at night to remind him of his job, killing those that did a bad thing (or as he calls it a "boo boo"), whether he agrees or not.

he's a pretty cool dude, and I love the way his ORC eyes looks so angry yet so sad...

I haven't yet, but I will. I do like the Orcs in Skyrim. The Characters look good. Also, I really like the Tribes around the game, as well as the Orc Armor and Weapons. Pretty Awesome.

Their racial ability is a match made in heaven for dual wielders.

I love orcs. They have a special place in my heart. Hated, ostracized, yet absolute badasses with a real code of honour. And in game terms that berserk fury is amazing, it essentially makes you 4 times more powerful for a minute (2Xdamage half received). The other warrior race, Nords have the ability to make people run away! What kind of warrior wants to make their enemy run away!? An orc can get any benefit any other race has through various means, no race can get an Orcs ability. I'm a heavy armour/warhammer guy myself but yes it is a great race for duel wielding (I use 2 scimitars at times) Plus, we are sexy. Gore has spoken!

orcs are my favorite race in the game and my character is one too i hate how not much of them live in the towns like i barely see them i like there strongholds its cool you can sleep in the stronghold too,
there should be more orcs in towns like seriously we shouldnt be afraid of the nords

I actually like that Orcs are rare in towns, it makes me feel I have more of a unique character. I jumped for joy when I found the first stonghold. Brawling, chatting, drinking ale! Ahhhh good times. I do actually go back there just to save my game every now and again, sad isn't it! And I don't think Orcs were ever afraid of Nords, they seem to get on quite well. But for the record Orcs were in Skyrim before Nords were.

Yeah, I think that Berserk is probably the best racial ability out there, at least for melee players. I've never played an Orc before because I don't enjoy two-handed builds very much, but I might make one some day.

By two-handed do you mean two handed weapons or duel wielding? Because either is perfect for an orc, in fact single-handed with a spiv is perfect for an orc, the ultimate warriors of Skyrim!

was an orc, got married to an orc, there were 6 orcs at my wedding, happiest day of my orcs life.

I had a dual wield heavy orc warrior. was great fun, pretty easy to. with smithing and berserk he was pretty unstoppable. But... i just didnt find the play style as fun. went back to an Khajiit assassin/theif and i much prefer sneaking around and 30x backstabbing my prey one by one rather than run in arms swinging and kill em all at once. Makes it more... challenging!

but... orc's still rock.

As much as I love them, I'm still marrying Ysolda. Mind you, Shel is pretty hot... Ok enough now, I have said too much.

Ysolda being a nord would mean the kid gets resist frost, battle cry and berserker lol.

I think they are the best class with high elf as close second.

Most races abilitys dont matter end game wise because they are eventually replaced with a skill or spell. but the Orc has beserker rage with doubles damage delt by melee and archery (<-- my orc) and from what I know there is no skill that replaces that. using an ebony armor spell and sneek with my conjured bow while in beserker rage makes for some really good damage and its a good power to use in a tight spot. but that combo pretty much makes me invincible and if that starts to fail then i just ethereal shout
