Do you lose your enchanted items as well as current perks and level? example- if you had an enchanted ring with unlimited magicka exploited onto it would you lose that item?
ah.. ok, i was just wondering cause i've heard the only problem with this update is it blocks the use of any exploits, hence why i haven't let it update since.. i just assumed it might also get rid of any items which have been created with potion exploits. No, why would you ?
You are only making a Skill Legendary, it doesn't affect any items you have made. For example, I reached 100 in Alchemy, so I made all the potions I needed then made it Legendary, Alchemy then reset back to 15 & I got all the perk points that I had spent on Alchemy back to use on any skill I wanted to use them on.

i have both dawnguard and dragonborn dlc's "had no interest in heathfire" and all the potion exploits, smithing and even the oghma infinium skill raising trick works the same as it always has, only minor inconvenience the dlc caused was you can no longer purchase the alchemy lab in whiterun for some odd reason, but it doesn't matter cause you can still purchase the home in solitude with all its decorations and it has plenty of bookshelves. just takes a little longer to save up for it cause that home is way more expensive than the one in whiterun.ah.. ok, i was just wondering cause i've heard the only problem with this update is it blocks the use of any exploits, hence why i haven't let it update since.. i just assumed it might also get rid of any items which have been created with potion exploits. No, why would you ?

I believe the stuff that update did was to halt the Oghma book exploit as well as to reduce the Septim's an invested Trader would have ( before the update, investing in a Trader more or less guaranteed a place to sell lot's of high end loot).
Can you tell me about the Alchemy/Enchant loop? I worked it quite nicely before my accidental char deletion. Did you have the DLC's (both or one?) in when you used it? Right now I just have Skyrim installed, no update, and my DLC's waiting in an external drive.
Odd. I have all the DLCs and can still get the lab in Whiterun without issue. I kind of like Hearthfire. I can do some great things with the houses (especially now that I've figured out how to move things around). Sure it can drive you nuts as you can never place anything permanently, but, whatja gonna do. I agree that Proudspire is a great home, but I still haven't figured out that odd, vacant room in the basement. Great to store tons of hides though!i have both dawnguard and dragonborn dlc's "had no interest in heathfire" and all the potion exploits, smithing and even the oghma infinium skill raising trick works the same as it always has, only minor inconvenience the dlc caused was you can no longer purchase the alchemy lab in whiterun for some odd reason, but it doesn't matter cause you can still purchase the home in solitude with all its decorations and it has plenty of bookshelves. just takes a little longer to save up for it cause that home is way more expensive than the one in whiterun.ah.. ok, i was just wondering cause i've heard the only problem with this update is it blocks the use of any exploits, hence why i haven't let it update since.. i just assumed it might also get rid of any items which have been created with potion exploits.

that is strange indeed.. my only guess is perhaps if you got hearthfire it fixes the alchemy lab problem in whiterun.Odd. I have all the DLCs and can still get the lab in Whiterun without issue. I was storing all the bodies of all the victims of various violence in Solitude there (vampires, fights, etc...), but the stink got so overwhelming my Housecarl couldn't sleep. She must have got fed up 'cause I came back one day and the room was devoid of bodies. Oh well, no more Namia parties in Solitude. Probably a good thing.that is strange indeed.. my only guess is perhaps if you got hearthfire it fixes the alchemy lab problem in whiterun.Odd. yea that extra room in proudspire does seem out of place, i love it tho! i call it "the armory" every weapon i wanna keep i just walk in there and drop, instead of using a chest.
Are you sure you're not resting? I never get the notification anymore, but, when I check my active affects it's there. Oddly though, unless I sleep a total of 6 hours or more, I don't get the well rested, just the rested. Kinda makes sense though.Well, without the date or DLC's, I have the Alchemy lab in Breezehome. But, for some reason, no resting when I sleep. I also have Honeyside, both Enchant and Alchemy Labs, but nothing from the Jarl about being Thane (I've yet to get the War to begin).
I enjoy the exploits now, as I've worked without them before, and now just want to kick back and have fun. I've got a good supple of ingredients, so I might try the loop again. I was able to get good Enchant potions made, just having a bit applying them to what I want to Enchant. I might not be quick enough though I think...30-seconds?
