Have you guys seen the new video?

I think it's just super-duper totally awesome and I can't wait to play and spend like six hours making my character, lol.

What do you think? Do you like this system and the way the characters look? What will your characters look like? :)

I think its gonna be epic ive watched this video like a million times it gets me pumped. I plan on making a tall sorta muscular Altmer with tattoos but only on the body, I kinda want him to mirror my current character.

It looks so good. Now you can actually add body fat and the argonians have some cool new fins and spikes.

I was kinda disppointed about the elves. They look mainstream, not like the ones in TES.
But, I suppose that was to be expected. Still awesome with all the body details though.

Actually, I've been beta testing ESO for the last two times, and the face options you can choose for the elves is pretty good. In fact, you can go for the Skyrim looking elf or the 'human with pointy ears' look, or even somewhere in between. Granted, I think the structures are a lot different between which elf you are, but the detail each face can have left me extremely happy after character creation. That and the body structure options. I basically made a near-exact copy of my Skyrim elf with this system, lanky body, gaunt face, and all.

The only think I wished they did, was have hairstyles, face ornaments/tattoos/paint reserved for certain races to give that culture divide.

I found it roughly on par with other systems such as the ones in Mass Effect or Fallout. But with the unfortunate omission of numbering so you can tell what settings you actually have each slider on. I take forever to make a character and when I tried to recreate Dr. D'Irsei's features I found it trying at best because some of the sliders have really unclear and limited effect, such as the ones for the jawline and chin. They either go from not much effect to drastic within less than a millimeter of slider, and when you inevitably change angles on the character to see the whole effect and it looks hideous, trying to restore back to where you were is an exercise in futility.

I wish they had the numbers, and furthermore it would have been cool if you could do like in Mass Effect, copy a code that applies to your look, and then simply enter it if you need to restore the exact appearance back later. That would have been awesome.

Not sure where I read it, but I saw someone ranting about how you're able to give your character purple eyes/non-lore-friendly eye colors.
Pretty sure there'll be plenty who'll give their characters red eyes now to make them look evil (and some races allow that *coughcoughDunmercough*), but for elf-fanciers who'd love to give them blue eyes or something like that; don't you fret, just finished both TES novels and there was a blue-eyed Altmer. Not saying he was a "pure" one since that guy was somewhere within an Imperal Library, but yeah.
Go for it. :p
