For me it all comes down to this....... The real " Enemy " to all in Skyrim are the Thalmor . The Blades are and will always be

hunted by the Thalmor . So ... what side do you stand with ? to me it's a no brainer , Paarth has to go down . I really hate having to kill him , the creator's of the game are amazing in thier story line of this great game , as player's we have to deside where are true loyalty is . I will always take my stand with the blades , even though I always miss ol Paarth.

Hmmm, what did you read at the "meditation" points when you went up to High Hrothgar about Paar? That's what I go on.

Looking for the Snitch in Skyrim...
I go with the mood at the time I receive the quest. Bad mood kill him. Good one well... , not kill paarth, or kill him after all. Ohhh... this is such a volatile decision. I go with my mood. It is soo easy.

This is why we have roleplay and mods. Such great combinations aren't they?

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

Hey J.C. :) I will have to go read them as I never have done that..... BUT I 100% HATE the Thalmor I kill them at every opportunity .

Hey, you should. There's a "bonus" or something called "Voice of the Sky" at the 10th one.

How do you backstab a Dragon?
While it makes sense to kill Parthy, I rarely do since it makes the "Blades" happy and I loathe every last one of them. I wouldn't recruit someone to join the Companions, the College, the DB, the TG or the DG and I like them! So why on earth would I recruit for the Blades. They serve no purpose at all.

I like being able to use the Greybeards to find word walls and Parthy stays on his mountain anyhow and doesn't bother me.

Besides, if he does decide to go back to his wicked ways, I'll be long dead anyhow. If it took him 1000's of years to get mellow it'll probably take him that long to get crazy again.

Except the location to Sky Haven Temple was lost since after the Reman Dynasty over two era's ago. The only way to know the location was in the single copy of a book that Esbern saved from destruction at Cloud Ruler Temple.

So unless you've turned snitch, they're pretty safe.

Edit: Lore wise, Delphine is a tough bitch to kill. During the war, she evaded three attempts on her life, in one case killing an entire assassination team. Since then, we have only indirect evidence of her movements, as she has proven extremely alert to our surveillance. She should be considered very dangerous and no move against her should be made without overwhelming force and the most careful preparation. - Thalmor Dossier, Delphine.

Ahh, alright. And no, I wouldn't betray them, or at least not to the Thalmor. ;)

Yeah, but the war was about 30 years ago in the game. Back then she was about 20 years old, though I gotta admit that's even more impressive. I do hope we get to see her again in TES6 somehow, maybe 5 years after the time of TES5 and in the middle of a war etc...

She's Breton so she would age slower and live longer than normal. Shouldn't count her out just yet, she isn't the acting Grand Master of the Blades for nothing :p

Stuff like this really makes me wants me to get my gaming PC in December!

When I get my PC, I want to keep both the spiritual side and the Samurai side of my character. Both serving a purpose like discipline. Doing the Blades will be so much fun as I can make the Sky haven temple as my batman cave, recruiting a lots of blades to build samurai army especially my most trusted companions such as Kharjo, hunting dragons, bringing the fight to the Thalmor, training my fellow comrades. And the greybeards! No more fast traveling in the game, so I must climb up the 7,000 steps, endure the sheer cold of the mountains echoing to my blood stream, meditating both peacefully and spiritually for a week, climbing the to the peak as it will give me discipline, meditating with Paathurnaax and testing my thuum against him, just wanting to hear to hear the wind and looking at the view of Skyrim, detaching myself from the world.

And all this can be achieved through modding and roleplaying. And the best thing? Getting my HD Led 1080p HDMI 21.5 monitor along with other visual effects (like COT ect ect) will be like telling a movie.. a book, creating new chapters... creating my own story.

- Chuck Norris bless these forums ;)
