New to Skyrim and Xbox

Hello all, I'm new to Skyrim and Xbox. Freinds of ours, Paul & Molly, gave us their old Xbox360 after they upgraded. Molly had told us about this game. Being a gamer from way back when dice were used instead of contollers it peaked my interest. The more she described the game and features the more I knew i would like it. I've played WOW on PC and got board after the last expansion, plus you needed to belong to a big group to get anywhere. When I found out Skyrim is a stand alone...I was in. Solo'ing WOW really sucks. Molly sent me the link to this site and said theres a great community and a vault of knowledge here. I finally figure out how to get the Xbox to work and created a profile for me and the missus. I started my first Character, however, not really understanding the Xbox fully created it on her Profile. But thats ok , just a good reason to make another. So I'll be lurking about reading posts to learn what I can about the game. I figure look first then ask if you can't find it. Have a good one...see you around the forum.

Protip: Favorite an item by hitting Y in the item/magic menu. Hit up on the directional pad to access your favorites then select an item and hold left or right on the directional pad to 'hotkey' your two favorite weapons/spells.
