Did anyone else kill Cicero purely due to his annoying voice? Honestly his voice was the most frustrating thing in Skyrim for me!

Also what are the benefits for not killing him?

I did and then regretted it as I found I missed his annoying voice. Go figure.

He can be a good follower if you don't kill him.

Cicero is one of the few followers outside of the Housecarls that has the high level cap of level 50. He's also the only follower that has 100 Sneaking skill at level 50 (Aela is a close second at 97) and has solid one-handed skill, archery skill and light armor skill (at level 50 100, 97 and 97 respectively). This makes him ideal if your playstyle involves a lot of stealth as there are very few followers with high stealth skill.

If Lucian Lachance accompanies you during your quest to find Cicero, he will inform you that Sithis does not want Cicero to die and the reason why becomes rather obvious by the end of the questline.

People like Cicero because he actually stands out among the other NPCs. He has as personality and a back story. For someone like me, who is writing my own story, creating my own characters, it's extremely refreshing to see such an unique character in such a massive world.

It's interesting to note that Cicero was actually very much sane at some point. However, as written in his journal, he went into madness. Insane characters are always interesting to me, because they are so unpredictable.

And that picture is so hilarious, because who cares if there are people who like Cicero?

I read every book I touch. This determines if I haul it back to my house for the shelves. Are the people of today so unwilling to read nowadays? Is it that much of a chore?

Not many other games even have in game content worth reading and voice acting has become the standard these days, I think people have become conditioned to not have to read anything.

I like me some good voice acting, don't get me wrong. But, I've always been a reader. I like that the Elder Scroll games HAVE reading material. Combines two things I love.

And yes, for those wondering. Cicero's journals are well worth the read.

Cicero reminds so damn much of Sheogorath, it makes me wonder if Sheogorath took the entrails of a narwhal and turned it into what we now know as Cicero. Now the real question is, does this mean I am in love with Cicero or do I want to do the fishstick on the moon that's made out of cheese?

I killed him because of his voice...starting to think on my next eventual playthrough I might let him live since he sounds like a pretty outstanding companion.

I skipped through all of his conversations and then was delighted when they gave me the option to kill him. I control population like a Spartan.
