Black Ice

Like A Red Nose
She had that look in her eyes. Like something was missing from her life. Then she started to tell me about her own adventures she'd had, years ago, and something between us clicked. It was like I had found my long lost sister. I asked her if she was interested in coming along with me and she jumped at the chance, despite it meaning she was to leave her husband behind.
I immediately saw a new life in her, a skip to her step. And as I handed her a set of Dragonscale armour I had made for her, I could see the spark returning to her eyes.
That was a few months ago now and Annekke and I have been inseparable ever since. We are so similar we don't even need to communicate in words. Each knowing the others next move before it's even made. She is my sister and I love her :)

can I just say than I see folks like you and Black Ice who not just reply on the thread but create stories along with it, really inspire me and put tears in my eyes *Trys to force out tears but shear manliness prevents such things* I love Anneke, I actually found her when I was playing a character I had coincidentally named Anneke XD

aww.. thanks so much. I actually write short stories IRL so thanks for the encouragement. I like to see people appreciate whatever I write :)
I went through a lot to get Annekke. I had a couple of quests in my journal that I had to clear before she even initiated the dialogue with me, and during one of those quests I lost my beloved horse. Needless to say I went on a murderous rampage through that bandit hideout :cowboy:
That's the Sylgias mom correct? I never knew she could be a follower. And it's great to see I finally found a forum that enjoys both rp & fantasy writing. It's a dream come true.... still can't hold a candle to the Runic & Sven duo ;)

Yes. She's at Darkwater crossing. It's takes a while to get her as a follower but she is worth it. Clear all "kill the bandit leader" quests, and visit darkwater crossing until she initiates the dialogue with you.
This forum is awesome. Friendly and creative people :)

Total badass

Introduction:
I know the story, we all kinda hate Lydia, and since she's our first follower she can either make or break our follower experience. But this thread is for the followers who we love, those faithful companions who are in it till the end.

Who's your favorite follower and Why?

Benor: I remeber as I first wondered into Morthal I wondered, "Who would live here? What can this town possibly offer?" It wasn't untill I saw a small crowd barking at the steward that I saw a man with brown braided hair and iron armor, one who would soon be my closest friend. Later that night he threw down some money calling for a fight, we traded blows and ended in spat. At first i didnt think much of him but after our drinks I saw he was a true fighter. When Jarl Ingrod Ravencrone commisioned me to investigate the housefire I knew I would need someone at my back incase things turned south. The first person I thought of was Benor, and when the Housecarl called to the local warriors of Morthal to vanquish the vampire threat, i wasn't surprised to see Benor there ready to jump into the fray. Together we destroyed Movarth and his followers, and now journey to Riften in hopes of falling in amongst the ranks of the Dawnguard. Wish us luck

I actually like Lydia. :) If not her, I go with Unbroken in Whiterun.

*sighs* currently Serana and Annekke have my ice-cold heart pumping again. Normally I'm a loner but I can always make an exception for those two beauties, Annekke's husband be damned.;)

Lydia.

I choose her every time mainly because of how customizable she can be, even on vanilla. She can be versatile, tough, and loyal.

She never chooses to report me for any crimes, always takes the brunt of the attack while I flank (Rogue character here), and can use/carry a multitude of things for me. Plus, I like her dialogue.

She is great.

I'm starting to like some of the Dunmer ladies.Jenassa and Arenea in particular ;)

Looking for the Snitch in Skyrim...
It would always be Serana and Lydia for me.

Lydia coz she was my first follower and because she is an awesome pack horse. "I am sworn to carry your burdens"
Serana because she's got a story, defied her father, is a vampire and also because I am hot blooded.

Serana is too depressing & aela is generic. Why couldn't Lydia, Mjoll, jorgis, and uthgard be light armor wearers smh.

Try Annekke at Darkwater Crossing. She uses light armour, is deadly in a melee but also has good sneak skills and is a great archer :) She is my favourite follower by far. I equip her with bow and sword and she uses them both efficiently.

Its kinda awkward having your mother in law watch you brutally murder a skooma dealer on the road to Solitude >_> <_<

If you married Sylgia her daughter then yes Anneke is your mother in law. Tho it's never mentioned in game.

oh,... yeah.. awkward.. In my experience though, Annekke is just as brutal. That girl has got some balls! I've seen her do some pretty shocking stuff.
