Hero of Time
Hello everybody. My name is Alex and I'm from Goodyear Arizona! I've played the Elder Scrolls for probably the past 5 years. I'm 17 years old and when I'm not playing video games I like to play guitar, write, and I'm learning to animate. I decided to join this forum because another forum I used to use has gone to hell. All of the OP are gone and it was chaos. Hopefully I'll like it here and make some friends:)

Oh and by the way I love to roleplay, so I'm hoping that the rp section of the forum is active:D

Don't worry about the RP, I use it frequently myself. I hope to RP with you sometime. Anyway, the community is great here.

When in doubt, follow the fox.
Greetings, Alex! What character are you currently playing?

 I just re-read my post! When I said, "Don't worry about making friends," I meant that it would be an easy thing to do. Not that you shouldn't attempt to make new friends.

Haha. I understood majir. But thanks:p

And Colleen I'm playing two characters right now. In my Xbox I'm playing a sword and shield nord and in pc I'm playing a Mage/spellsword high elf. Not too sure what I want to do with my high elf yet. It's my first time playing as any race other than nord.

I wish my father played guitar. I'd have someone to jam with at home instead of having to go to a friends house

aww.. all three of us play, me, son and Hubby. We have two fenders, and two acoustics. Hubby's acoustic is really rare and worth a lot so I'm not allowed to touch it with my long nails..lol. So I just have a cheepy (I'm not very good..lol)

All of you guys play?? Adopt me...haha. That's really cool! Have you guys tried writing any songs?

My brother is the only one who plays an instrument and he plays piano, but the only music he likes to play is video game music, so when we play songs together I don't really get the thrill I get when me and a couple friends do a full cover of a song.

Nice geetars, I see a Vox amp in there, always nice to see that. Doesn't the Valvetronix amps have a tube preamp? It looks like they do from the vent in the top. Can't tell what the amp is under the Vox, but I see a Squier SP-10 in there.

Anyway, here's my rig in two pics:

The guitars are (left to right) a Squier Classic Vibe 50's stratocaster and a 2002 Fender American Series Stratocaster, strung upside down, cause I'm a lefty, and a huge Hendrix fan.

The amp is a Marshall Class 5, the pedals are a Vox King Wah (second pic) The Vox Wah in the first pic died on me. Then there's the Jimi Hendrix Octavio, and the Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face.

BTW, the Vox King was made in the early 70's. Because of the condition of mine, they only wanted $40 for it, even though it works and sounds great.

It's pretty much a small Hendrix rig.

You got to find out what they are! My uncle had a 1908 Gibson L-3, had it restored by Gibson, but sold it when they got in trouble for using endangered wood.

Thanks Dallas. And yes the vox does. The amp under it is a raven rg60 but the speakers blown right now:/

A fender fan eh? Nice:) I had a fender squire for my first guitar (which is where I got the sp10) and I'm a lefty too but since my first guitar was regular I learned on regular.

Anyway, love your rig!

Thanks. I tried to learn right handed, but I couldn't do it. It just felt really weird. Oh, and I know that feeling about your dad not playing. I tried for years to get my dad to start playing, and at one time I had enough gear so that we could, but he just wouldn't do it, claimed he was too old. I also offered to show him how to play the one song he sort of knew, but still he wouldn't. The funny thing is, he was a roadie before I was born, no one famous, just a local SW Michigan cover band, but he was a roadie.

GAH! It's under the bed right now and I can't get to it. I know Hubby told me a dozen times who made it, but I can't remember :) It's by this really eccentric Australian (?) dude who has to make each guitar perfect or else he smashes them to pieces.. Hubby's best friend bought it for him years ago. We use fender amps for the electrics. Mine is a semi acoustic.

Never tried as I can't read sheet music. I am one of those annoying people who can play something after she hears it. Son is learning music theory.

Sounds like a great guitar. Oh, and I can't read music either, Hell, I don't even know the names of half the chords I play, and I don't actually know a single scale, 19 years playing, and I don't know any theory.
