I decided to go ahead and finish up the Forbidden Legend today since I already had the amulet fragments and whatnot. So I get to the end where I'm fighting the sons, right? Somehow I get blown straight out of the area by a badly timed Fus Ro Dah and end up laying by the entrance to the cave. Here's where it starts to get weird. The battle is still going on even though I was blown into an odd white space and then appeared at the entrance. So I run back down as fast as I can since my housecarl is probably dead by now and what do I see? A gate. A gate closing off my way back in and I have no way of opening it. Somehow my housecarl stayed alive and was still fighting, so I pulled out my bow and continued fighting boss after boss through the bars of gate. I took next to no damage, and with the help of my housecarl (though not much... she kept standing by the gate and getting in my way) managed to defeat all three. This was my third time trying to beat this area (the first two times I died because I didn't think to bring a follower) and it was incredibly easy.

Anyone else have some really odd glitches lately that worked out in their favor? Share 'em.

I was in the soul cairn and came to my second Keeper. These guys are seriously badass on master level, like one hit kill. So needless to say I was keeping my distance. Anyway the Keeper starts for me and I am thinking "Oh S**T" when he suddenly stops and does this funny running on the spot thing. He is stopped by one measly little tree root, and I just stand there shooting him full of arrows until he's dead :)

Not really a glitch in my favor but I dodged a bullet recently. After about two hours of wandering around hunting and gathering, I decided to swing by Shimmermist to grab some mushrooms and got jumped by a dragon. A wimpy one. So I stood at the entrance and was using Force to stagger him and Thunderbolt to ping him every time he hovered. I eventually grounded him so I started jumping rocks to go catch him and I glitched between a couple and was stuck. Almost lost a ton of progress but got lucky and was able to crouch and hide so he would start wandering. He finally wandered in range so I was able to fast-travel out of the glitch.

Neither have I -.-..I've had it happen a few times and just reloaded.

Oh wow. I never thought of fast traveling either. I normally just yell and mash buttons until I become unstuck or accept the reality of my last auto save being over an hour ago and come to terms with that.

Cool. Glad I could help.

Yup. In fact I fast traveled right to Shimmermist and grabbed my bones. :)

This didn't really affect my game play, but the dude who chops firewood at Windhelm walked past me today with a heap of firewood in his arms. One piece was floating in front of him and another was stuck to his leg....o_O

Also, very early on in the game Lydia and I were going to Ivarstead, and came upon an orc who tried to sell us skooma. I declined but I think Lydia partook of some because next thing I turn around and she is face down in the dirt. She still has dialogue with me, but nothing I do fixes her. So I continue on to Ivarstead and after a while look behind me to see if Lydia is still there, and she is sliding over the ground towards me..like some creepy Lydia/lizard creature. It went on like this for miles before she suddenly just stood up again. From then on I never let Lydia near a road side merchant, Khajiit, or bars!

I was in the Soul Cairn for the first time, fighting the Keepers... boy, I hate them. Anyway, there is one Keeper who is up on that floating rock thing, and I teleported up to fight him... mid-battle, I was very low on health, and thought I was gonna die. He was standing so close to the ledge that I was able to shoot him with a crossbow bolt, stagger him, and send him right off the edge. :D

That is, by far, the creepiest thing I have ever imagined.

It was completely creepy! And if she slid over a small hill she would half disappear into the ground. My son thought it was hilarious.

The usual, flying mammoths, sliding dogs, skyrim physics, and Otar who was well aware of me slashing at him, but he just stood there floating, very chill, and I called off my follower and sort of stared at him for a few minutes waiting for him to attack me. Otar the Mad? Otar the Its All Cool Bro, more like it.
He never attacked me, so eventually I just had to send Bloodscythe through his chest :/
Sorry, man...

I had that glitch once, too. I hate shock users, so I really was not looking forward to fighting him.
Turned out I didn't have to. :D It was kinda lame, though.

One time I was an extremely squishy, low level mage trying to clear out Knifepoint Ridge (not for Boethiah, but a certain Jarl). I knew the chief was going to be tough as a dragon, so I had formed a plan of attack, including a tonload of potions and poisons.
It must have been my lucky day. When the BC attacked, he couldn't find his way around the only tree root/tiny rock there was in that area. With him running in place, it was ridiculously easy to BBQ him with Flames.
Enemies getting stuck has won me several what seemed like losing battles.

The dragon at Skyborn Altar once ended up stuck on a ledge after crash landing off its lair area. It was easy to avoid its breath attacks, and just keep shooting arrows.
Then I just had to launch the skeleton down to Stonehills. :D
