My character is a warrior using two handed greatswords, but until I'm spotted I use stealth and my bow. If I can I like to take out everyone one by one with my bow and never get noticed. The thing I absolutely hate is when I am aiming at an enemy with my bow, have poison on my arrow, took a potion of enhanced archery then when I am locked on and release.....arrow bunces off the rock I'm standing on, or hits a wooden railing thats in front of me. Even though it seems like I'm CLEARLY going to miss the object and hit my target, it still manages to get caught up and waste my potions and alarm the enemy. I've even had killshot sequences and I get all excited, just to have it bounce off the damn rock. I just wish there was an easier way to tell if there was something in my way before i shoot.

I hate that too.

I get the whole sneak = crouched and just because my head can see over the object, it doesn't mean my weapon has line of sight to the target.

However the aiming view should clearly show the obstruction or the game should assume if I have line of sight to target with the aim point, that I have moved the weapon high enough to avoid the obstacle.

I don't "hate" Skyrim, I "hate" Bethesda for ignoring many of us when we'd call/email them about the very many serious bug's and glitches. How they'd read a script, telling that they know about the problem and are working on it (when in actuality, they did nothing but make things more frustrating).

I love Skyrim, the the DLC's Dargonborn and Dawnguard are pretty good. Hearthfire has so much suckage I dumped it. But like I've said many times, ad nauseum, Bethesda dropped the ball on what could have been an Epic game.

And I seriously doubt if they're going to put out any more patches for anything of Skyrim.

I totally agree.

I feel they created this wonderful world with Skyrim, but at the same time let both the players and Skyrim down with the actual game itself (the code if you will).

Too many issues that cause CTDs, way too easy to end up with lost save games, numerous quest / progression bugs that only have 'reload an older save' as the solution, lack of 64 bit client, lack of DX11, horrible UI, and basically a crappy console port for PCs.

Sad thing is this seems to be normal for Bethesda - great game world, crappy game code.

Why bother with quality and striving for reaching full potential if you can release games in the state Skyrim was released and still get "Game of the Year" awards and score 90+ across the board in every major review.

Yes I still enjoy and play Skyrim, because the world itself still has a draw even with all the technical frustrations, and because unfortunately, games of this scope and scale are few and far between, leaving few if any alternatives.

Ah, one last thing I, myself forgot to mention. I absolutely HATE with a burning passion of self-destruction, the fact that Bethesda leaves major holes everywhere with almost the sole intention of letting the mod community deal with it. They don't have to try as hard on their code and content because they know that someone else will deal with. That MIGHT be okay if, and only if, modding was available to everyone. Instead only PC players get to use them.

Granted, I'm saving up for a PC but that doesn't mean they should ignore major issues just because the modders can fix them.

What I 'hate' is that there is no ability to customize your armor however you see fit on the vanilla.

I really find it annoying that some enemies have a "zoning" personality when they're in combat. An example would be any dragon priest. They will float away from you constantly, while hurling whatever devastating spell they have in their arsenal

Skyrim's a beautiful game, but the world looks like utter plopse when you look at something from a distance. Mountains are usually alright, but water looks like ice and everything's blurry.

I'm just a big, hairy American winning machine.
I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but I absolutely hate that they took away the hot key d-pad on consoles and made it a menu that pauses the game when you switch weapons/spells/ect. Especially for a mage, like myself, who loved switching between spells during combat in Oblivion. This change completely throws off any type of flow you get into during combat when you have to stop the game to scroll through a list of stuff to pick something.

I hate that I burst through the gate, kill a vampire lord and all his disciples, run away with his daughter, hand the castle over to her mom... and I'm still a thief for harvesting human flesh and hearts.

That was a left at Dragonbridge, right?
Glitches. That's what I hate most. Like my character's sudden loss of its ability to charge magical weapons. It's gone...<poof!>. Up to Level 65 this second time through and apparently now the only way to regain a magical weapon is to make a new one, or buy one and smith up the kill factor.

Went back and restarted a saved game from my FIRST time around through Skyrim...now that character still has the ability to recharge magical weapons. Frankly I dunno if my 2nd character ever had the ability since I wasn't using enchanted weaponry until very recently. But it's another one of those Skyrim glitches that drives me batty.

I also hate that Riverwood Trader no longer has 10k+ worth of gold to trade with. Kinda sucks whenever I come across or create something spendy that no one can afford to buy without me first buying a bunch of unnecessary junk then selling what I wanted and finally slowly selling off all the 'unnecessary junk' piecemeal to other merchants. REALLY slows down the pace, of a game that already has a slow pace.

The Map. Pretty much the only reason why I had to "bend" my rule when it comes to absolutely no magic playthrough. Clairvoyance is such a big help.

I love the game enough that after 200 hrs, I took a 5 month break. Then started a new game and got to 195 hrs. Didn't make many of the first time mistakes, but didn't know that if you didn't go to Vex after 1st stone of barenziah, it would stack them until you did. And some places like Fellglow Keep blocked off now, so no way to verify I have that stone I have 22. Too much work for silly errors to ruin everything. And I don't recall Fallout 3 being that bad.

As far as nerfing our Trader, has anyone else run into a Trader/Vendor/Trainer),Thieves Guild, Dawnguard NPC's who by glitch or another has 20k? I've run into several, Gunmar at the Dawnguard, Tonilia at Thieves Guild, one of the students in Winterhold.

It seems to be a random thing, as it just seems to happen. What makes it more frustrating is that you can't fast travel to go get stuff to sell, as by the time you return, well, a lot of time has passed in Skyrim, and the coin is gone.

I hate how there's no ducks in the game. Why aren't there any ducks!?

There's a few things I hate:

1. Needs far more World Encounters especially at the end game when crypts and whatnot are cleared

2. Staffs/Staves however you want to spell them seem to have been an afterthought which is really unfortunate. Really needs higher level staffs and at least one talent point in the Enchanting or maybe Conjuring line that can help to keep them charged. Like Soul Stealer or Soul Siphon should work on Staffs.

3. Really wish there was something better for Restoration. They could've at least given some top end perk like every other class has. Enchant gets doubled, Conjured gets two summons and half cost, Alteration gets atronach and half cost, Illusion gets M.O.M. and half cost... resto only gets half cost. Its also annoying that you need DawnGuard to really deal any sort of damage with Restoration which I didnt realize my first time playing. Would've been nice to have sundmg in the vanilla or a drain life or something.

hmm... ya I think that's about it. I love the game overall despite its bugs and problems.

Alchemy
I hate that you can't carry alchemy tools with you anymore. It's really stupid that you have to find 'alchemy stations' to make a potion.

Weapon/Armor Repair
I hate that your weapons and armor just magically stay in top shape forever. Currently playing Morrowind and love that when I go on a long quest I have to prepare for this.

Health
I hate that they gave you regenerating health. This isn't Call of Duty. I'd like to role play in such a way that my character doesn't just magically heal constantly for no reason. I mean, you can be a hair from death and then just stand there and be fine after a bit. Hate that. I'd rather have to use spells or potions or a bed to heal.

There are other things I don't like, but overall it's a great game and I'm not going to bitch because there's so much you can do with the game if you use your imagination.

I hate how fl*ffing loud bears are in comparison to everything else. That's the thing I hate most about the game, I'm also not a fan of dark Falmer caves, etc. but they're much more bearable than those bloody, noisy bears.

Wicka waaah!!
