I'v got one way of power leveling armour and restoration, what you do is find someone weak, get you fast healing out, let him hit you (which levels your Armor up) then heal your self with fast healing (which levels your restoration up), just keep on doing this (gets a bit boring though).

I was just wondering what ways you guys use to level things up fast?

(I did search this but could not find anything on it, so sorry if there already is)

A lot of ways are at the uesp. Here's alchemy:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Alchemy

Put the name of the skill into the search bar there for the others.

Starting out, if you go with Rolof. Grab the key from the dead woman captain before he does. He tells you to open the door. Disregard, we're going to work on one handed, sneak and destruction. Note an altmer can use fury on Rolof or the other guy and level illusion, block, light or heavy armor, one handed, and restoration. Now after you get tired of all that. Go to Riverwood. Buy alteration spell - oakflesh. Go above embershard mine and drop onto the outcropping. the bandit outside cannot get to you. Start leveling alteration. Don't bring Faendal because he would want to kill him. You could sneak off and have Faendal waiting a distance away and buy archery levels and take money back. After you tired of leveling alteration, jump down and let him pound on you, leveling your armor, block, restoratation. Theres also something about Faendal house and lock picking the front door. Too many load screens for me though. When y'all leave Faendal keeps locking the door and doesn't get pissed at you for picking it. Heard about it, haven't done it, so save beforehand.

Oh, if you're bretonian and leveling alteration, get magic resistance. With their native 25% plus alteration 30 plus Agent of Mara 15% (the book of love quests in Riften) plus the Lord Stone 25% means you have a natural 95% resistance to bad spells, shouts, etc. You're on your way to godhood.

Conjuration is easy too. You can conjure bound sword and then sheath it, then re-cast it. As long as there's a fight going on, it will level. The best situation I found for this was when a dragon attacks the college at Winterhold. If you go up on the roof far away from a tower entrance at certain locations on the roof, the dragon won't attack you but will only fight the mages down below. But since it's a combat situation, your conjuring and re-conjuring will level up.

i guess you could say i power leveled smithing, i killed a LOT of wolves, deer, elk, fox, and goats, then made all of the hides into leather then made that into leather bracers, then sold the bracers to the blacksmith. but i guess you could also look at it like i was just working for the blacksmith and making armor for them.

Just find a slaughterfish. Make sure you don't have a companion with you though; they'll jump in and can't do plops and they'll just swim and swim and swim. Then there are those wolves in cages...

For Sneaking/One-Handed just got to High Hrothgar, sneak up behind any of the greybeards and just smash em up, but dont hit then too much at one time or else they'll see you and freeze ur a$$ so make a save before doing it.
Since I'm mainly a mage I crafted legendary Daedric armor including a shield, traveled to Solitude, got a small bounty and collected all the guards into one area of the city and basically you can level 3 skills at once.. block/heavy(or light) armor and restoration.

Right out the cave, in the beginning, as you head to towards town, you will meet a pair of wolves.

Allow your friend to get ahead of you, before you meet the wolves, and then kill one of the wolves and max your blocking on the other wolf. Best to have your back against a rock face, so that the wolf does not drive you backwards. Lock your block key and take a couple hours sleep and you should be well on the way to being maxed in block and have a good few stat and perks in store.

Theres a guy in the Black Briar Meadery, an elf named Ungrien, who you can continuously use a persuasion option on until 100. I went from 26 to 100 in 25 minutes

slaughterfish are so freaking annoying that I've never kept myself near them long enough to consider using them for something good LOL

Use appropriate guardian stones(20% if doing just one skill, lover stone 15% everything)
rest at inn when possible(15% skill gain bonus for things like alchemy)

When leveling magic skills use all your magic fast as possible using both hands with most expensive spell(like fireball instead of flame) when mana is empty wait 1 hour rather than letting it regen. Because of this magic regen is not important but max magic is. So if you have +30 magicka equipment use it.

Even more powerful than that is crafting 100% free casting gear then can go non stop

Use trainers in this order. Since you can only do 5 training per level you want to be efficient. Don’t level up without training 5 times first.

Train Speech to 25 at bard college(allows you to persuade ungrien at riften taking speech to 100 that way)
Illusion to 25(allows learn muffle which takes you to 100)
Alchemy to 51 (pain in butt skill but very lucrative for money)
Alteration to 50 (allows learn detect life takes you to 100)
Lockpicking to 51 (lockpicking is pain in butt to level up)

Pickpocket your money back from trainers. Nothing more needed to max out pickpocket. At first training with trainer + pickpocketing will level you to 25ish without having to stop. Eventually youll have to start potion crafting to get more levels to keep training.

Illusion Use muffle when walking around town doing other things. Don’t focus heavily on muffle until you can do 100% free casting

Speech Ungrien in black-briar meadery in riften at 25 speech persuade him indefinitely to 100

AlchemyBuy all the ingredients(except fire/void/ice? Salts which are too expensive) at merchant and put them together using this program. Also if gonna do daedric armour good chance to find enough hearts

http://skyrimforum.com/threads/poti...redients-get-a-list-of-possible-potions.2428/

(waiting 48 hrs for merchant to restock ingredients as necessary). Don’t obsess about selling potions. Just hold onto them then when you buy ingredients, soul stones, iron, enchanted gear(to disenchant) get your money back by selling your potions(requires merchant skill so can sell anything to anyone). Also when doing lockpicking. I buy lockpicks in riften which is also good opportunity to sell potions.

Smithing/enchanting in that orderhttp://eldersouls.com/page/index.html/_/guides/skyrim/skyrim-conjuration-smithing-enchanting-guide
Do iron daggers and leather bracers buying all leather, leather straps, iron you can… not steel. Don’t sell the daggers yet. Give all of them to companion for later enchanting. Be careful theres a bug where he picks up daggers but not added to his inventory. So save and make sure worked right. Companion will pick up equipment even when hes overburdened using the pick up stuff command rather than trading

Buy filled soul stones(not empty ones) and enchant your daggers(not leather bracers unless at end run out of daggers). Alternate between crafting daggers and enchanting them for weight purposes

Some enchantments will improve the selling price of the item more than others. In order of descending value:
Weapons: Banish, Paralyze, Absorb Health, Stamina Damage

After completing alchemy, smithing, enchanting can now create free casting gear

Alteration cast Detect life with dual hands but not with dual casting perk. Use free casting gear, leave overnight while you sleep. In whiterun. On stairs between black briar inn and church

restoration/armour/block
Craft free restoration necklace(29% reduce)/ring(29% reduce)/chest(48% reduce)

Equip light armour helmet and light armour footwear. Heavy armour chest and hands. This allows light armour and heavy armour to level at same time.

Go to bleakwind basin west of whiterun. Get 2 giants to attack you, 1 mammoth(more mammoths will block giants from reaching you with their large tusks)

Charge up both hands with grand healing(300 heal), use double tap charge up to get both hands up consistently. Do this until heavy/light armour to 85. Then switch to shield + one hand grand healing. Block to 100 which will also bump the armour up a bit. Then finish off the armour

After restore, armour, block done then get shadowmere and finish offense skills(1 hand, archer, 2 hand, destruction, conjuration(soul trap))

Get shadowmere http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Shadowmere and http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Shadowmere hes a great mountain climber and good target to attack for skill leveling. He has lots of life, high health regen and wont run away or attack you. Easier than finding new enemies to fight. Here are some pointers for 2 of the quests to get shadowmere

Save an invisibility potion for killing Victoria. Drop the gargoyle above her head and go invisible immediately then walk away

For breaching security killing Gaius maros go to whiterun, he sleeps in bannered mare at midnight on Turdas(the day). Start at 4pm and go by 1 hour waits. Close door. Sometimes will get bounty for killing him even when door closed so just bribe your way out of it. You can also turn into werewolf to kill him.

Conjur use soul trap on shadowmere using both hands(free casting gear) to 50 conjur then buy bound bow

Archery buy bound bow or find here http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Bound_Bow_(Skyrim) shoot shadowmere until 100(this will also raise conjur) no arrows use so no cost involved. I have turbo controller so rubber band the shoot button(R1) then occasionally cast bound bow(L1)Finish of conjuration now.

Sneakfind an NPC who stays in one location. Put your character in a corner. Rubber band controller so hes constantly walking forward into corner. Leave overnight.

In Hrothgar the priests who prey at 6 different mats in a hallway. Put my character between 3rd and 4th mat. There are many locations to choose from that’s just the place I used so I know it works for a one night which maxed my skill. I had muffled boots, +25% sneak hood.

To get to hrothgar just ride shadowmere up the mountain. Start from south end of mountain, work your way counter clockwise when stuck. When you get to throat of the world can then easily climb down into hrothgar.

Lockpicking buy lockpicks from thieves guild

then go to Markarth and finish quest to get into the Museum(Calcelmo who is found in understone keep in markarth take a left once enter), in left

Open all the locks here. Once done go back to thieves guild

Buy and waste locks on Master(breaks picks fastest) locked chest that is found in thieves guild. As in break them on purpose so you don’t have to find new locks to pick. I bought like 300 lockpicks at a time. Rubber banded the controller. At roughly 89 lockpicking you will be level 81 and can stop leveling.

I like whiterun as my leveling location has 3 blacksmiths. You can pretty much level to 81 without fighting much more than needed to get shadowmere and fighting the giants.

Your companion has a weight limit on what he can carry. But you can throw things on ground and he will pick it up no matter how much he is carrying. So basically you can carry as much equipment, poitions, ingredients as you want. Just be careful about a glitch for this glitch where he will pick the stuff up but wont appear in inventory

It took me about 3 hours to get to lvl 30 and about 3 days to get to 81 but that included doing quests to get shadowmere. Buying a house in solitaire, building my equipment and selling all my potions so I had about 150k gold after buying house and building my gear

Taking all this to the next level. Do not use perks. From now on you wont have to level ever again. Use this same character to split off into new character builds. For example….

Lvl 81 naked not perked character becomes….
Lvl 81 magician
Lvl 81 archer
Lvl 81 shield warrior
Lvl 81 thief/assassin

And save those different characters. But always keep the unperked naked character to branch from. This also means if they ever come out with a download patch with new content you can do a whole new character if it pleases you

When I did this I did put perks into

Speech(merchant to sell potions faster but if want to spend time can sell potions to general goods and alchemy merchants)
Alchemy(Benefactor)
Enchanting(extra effect) I did those 2 skills to get free casting but just speeds up leveling. Can do waiting for 1 hour to regenerate magic and not need free casting(will also have to do weaker enemy attacking you like mudcrabs)
Restoration(regeneration for faster leveling, respite faster running around map)

You can also level sneaking and one handed on Ralof at Helgen just as you reach the Bear and he tells you to sneak by it...just crouch behind him and beat on him....I never got his health down too low for fear he might turn on me
