Arch Mage to Clan Thu'um.
How far are you? Currently just finished learning more powers on that 7000 stair climb up the mountain.

I'm taking it very slow, still up to Riverwood. I'm just exploring the beauty of Skyrim!

Go to Ivarstead. Near Ivarstead is a stone bridge. Your pilgrimage begins on the other side of the bridge.

Almost immediately you spot a small shrine. Read if if you'd like.

Follow the winding path. Soon wolves will attack.
Soon you will pass a fourth shrine with a women sitting in front of it. You may talk if you want to. Keep following the path but keep weary as a snow troll will attack you. He wasnt hard to beat. Stay on that path and before you know it, your there :)

I've messed with first two towns and done 2 quests. I have almost enough gold for a house, 3 enchanted bows, full upgraded leather armor and tons of loot. I just finished cleaning out the last house in Whiterun and I'm hunting more NPC that need their pockets cleaned out.

Not bad lad. I might have to start stealing as well. My only issue is finding shops to see. Everything looks the same.

I'm at level 10, playing as a pure mage. I'm fairly deep into the Mage college quests. I've acquired one daedric artifact and my next quest in the main story line is the 7000 steps.

Mage is the way to go! But I also love the bow.

I believe I was 18, half way to 19 when I had to leave for work, about 2 hours ago. I'm putting points in to sneak, archery, lockpicking, and heavy armor. With sneak and heavy armor's bonuses (as well as the steed sign) I still move quick, fairly silent, and snipe anything and everything I can, while still having some decent armor. =)

I've been up the 7000 steps, joined the Companions, the Imperials, and am a Bard. The DB is after me, as well as another group that is unhappy with my actions... tsk tsk. I generally walk everywhere I go, and only fast travel back to Whiterun to dump my spoils back at house.

I'm absolutely in love with this game, and the only thing I dislike is that "sub" skills (in my mind, such as lockpicking, pickpocketing, alchemy, basically anything that doesn't add directly to your offensive or defensive ability) are in the same point system as your offensive and defensive skills. I always love the alchemy of TES games, as well as lockpicking, and now to "buff" them, I have to take precious points away from my offensive and defensive choices. Quick calculations show me being able to max 3 skills and having some left over in a fouth. So I can chose to max sneak, archery, and one of alchemy, lockpicking, or heavy armor, and the rest in to the two left over, which won't be many points. Just a bummer is all, but doesn't keep me from giving this game 10/10.

I'm level 15, completed the civil war. Doing the main quest now. Dived right in to be honest, I need to do a bit more exploration. Absolutely love the game, mainly been using a bow and when I run out of arrows or have close combat, I charge in with a sword or an axe. Should of really been a bosmer instead of a nord.
