Hi All,
Is there no menu page that shows a nice picture of what your character looks like along with all their stats?
Thanks!

You know I don't think there is, but honestly I didn't even realize it til your thread. Not that there is anything wrong with you wanting that, but I just look at my character in game if I want to see my character, and stats wise, the only stat I can think of is your attack and defense stats, which are listed at the bottom of your equipment page for weapons or apparel. Good 'nough for me... =)

If you press F while you have your weapons out you can't see your front view. So, there is still no way to see what you look like with all your cool armor and weapons. Wow. That's really lame! I am finding it really hard to know what my overall character's abilities and stats are.

Yeah, I miss looking at my character like I did in Oblivion. The UI for the menu is pretty horrible too. Someone really need to rush for a mod to fix that

I didn't like the menu UI at first, at all. I was raging. Now it's so fluid I don't even notice. I'm on console, though. It might lend itself to a directional pad a bit better than a mouse/pointer.

I agree; it's a bit annoying not to be able to see what you look like with your armor and weapons. I put a lot of time into character creation, and it would be nice to have the opportuinty to look at my char armed and ready through the TAB menu, while the game is paused (like in Oblivion).

I agree with everyone here. Being able to look at my character throughout my campaign helps me better connect with my character. I'd love a mod that shows you instantly what armor and or gear you're choosing to wear looks like on your character. Oh and a mod that allows you to hotkey your weapon/spell sets so you can dial them up instantly. Modders, you have your work cut out for you.

I agree with the general issue that the UI could use some serious work and being able to see your character is a big part of that. I think I was playing for 16ish hours before I figured out how to show other people what I looked like. The fact that I can't show with my weapons out is just silly. Enough people seem irritated, though, that I expect this will be one of the first mods we see.

It has a tendency to ignore the cursors position at times but its not too horrible.

Oh that doesn't sound too bad then. I almost purchased my second copy on PC today, but Best Buy was sold out (was getting rid of games, so had to go to places that took trade ins, such as Best Buy, and Gamers [local game shop, better than Gamestop...]) ended up getting the collector's edition guide...! It's hardcover! It's my own IRL tome of Skyrim! Had to do it. Haha. I'm not delving in to it too much; no storyline/item location/etc, just reading it for the player-customized info, like race stat bonuses, ideas on builds, stuff like that, for fun. =) After my first playthrough (or when I max level on my first character, with his main skill at least maxed) I might start a second character and use it a little more for min/maxing.

As was mentioned earlier if you click f it will toggle your view mode between first and third person. however if you have weapons drawn and HOLD F it will allow the camera to rotate around your character. i believe that if you do not have weapons drawn simple zoom all the way out and the camera will be able to rotate.

I imagine that if you hold the view toggle button on a console it will have the same effect

From my experience, if you leave the game running for a period of time and not pause it the game will switch to a sweeping view of your character and rotate on an axis around him. I've not tested this with my weapons drawn but I did leave the game running while I went to the bathroom and came back to this splendid camera view. Almost like an in-game screen saver.

I am on a Console however.

EDIT NOTE: Verified, I drew my weapons and left the game for about 4 minutes and it went into screen saver mode and I was able to see my character with his weapons out from a different angle.
