I hate having to deal with a follower; most of my money is make from crafting things and selling them, stealing stuff from people and selling to my fence, finishing quests with monetary rewards (assassinations, Thieves' Guild quests, bounties, etc), or just plain adventuring and seeing what I find. Most dungeons have some sort of chest at the end with something cool in it.

I hate dealing with followers aswell. Ah, you make your money by, well, doing everything. I like that.

I'm a level 45 nord, I destroy bad dudes with my daedric warhammer, and my main strategy is to recklessly charge into battle.I've dabbled in the dark brotherhood and thieve's guild I prefer trying to make an honest living without the need for murder or thievery. I enjoy having a companion and a dog by my side, even if that means going to my last save in the case that I accidentally kill one of them :p

I just make money from enchanting jewellery and selling it, and just generally selling items I find in caves and forts (I am VERY thorough with my searching, I will look through every cupboard, corpse, chest, urn, etc.)

Hi Eva,

Are you tired of followers charging into battle, only to be cooked alive by dragons?
Irritated by their complaints to help out and carry some gear?
Frustrated that when you enter a dungeon they seem to have taken a coffee break?

Then Eva the world of Conjuring may be for you!

Apply now to the College of Winterhold and you could benifit from the wonderful world of magicka!

The Magicka's of Winter Hold are many indeed but you sound like you are a Conjuring type of person

Some benefits are!

Suicidal loyality - Were before with a follower this was a problem, now with new and improved summons if your summon goes off and dies, hey guess what!, you summon another one!

Multiple helpers - Unlike followers, given enough time you can have up to two summons assisting you. That's twice as much awesome!

No complaining - The only complaint you'll hear from a summon is it doesn't have enough to kill for you!

Elemental compainionship - Ever wonder what it would be like to dance with a flame element? drink ice coffee with the prince of ice? or soar through the air with a thunder and lightning atronach? (flying may not actually occur) WELL! these to can be yours as well!.

Now your asking "Well there has to be a catch, there is always a catch"

Well Eva I won't lie to you.

They don't carry stuff (union contract) (I know wtf union contract, don't ask) and there may be a cover fee to get in of $30 (goes towards weekend parties of who's got the soul stone - crazier then it sounds)

But if your tired of followers dieing without a cause then Drop by the Winter Hold Magicka College, you won't regret it.

-Cheers

I'm like a juggernaut of PAAAAIIIIINNN. It's so much fun being a tank. I usually play as a nimble little sword and shield character who uses light armour so this is a fun change! And my armour rating is so high I swear I'm invincible.

Exactly! Keep experimenting new things:)

I have sworn off followers... Was a die hard fan of them, but sneak attacks are just about impossible with them so I am going it alone. Well, me and my dog once I find one. And a horse, if I can keep one alive...

I'm taking the high moral ground. I wiped out the Dark Brotherhood, haven't joined the Thieves Guild, don't steal, and don't kill anyone who isn't attacking me, with the exception of the one you have to off to get in with the Dark Brotherhood so you can take them out. I basically put myself in the game and try to make the same decisions I would if I was really there.

I wonder if Cicero would still show up with a broken wagon on the road if you wipe out the DB. While I am still on the fence this go round about whether or not to join them, I would hate to miss out on meeting the little madman again.

Besides, some of the most enjoyable missions are DB contracts that make you strategize how to pull off the hit without getting caught. That said, I still don't like having to kill innocents. I always take a rememberance of them home and keep a shrine to the victims to waylay my guilty feelings.

I did it on my first playthrough, her smugness annoyed me and i had a shelf full of assasinaton letters from her to have me killed so she deserved to die.

HeavyMetal

Life is no way to treat an animal.
My Argonian archer/assassin is a total klepto. Aside treasure hunting and questing, I pick pocket every one I meet, and when the stores I've ransacked restock their shelves, I'm always left thinking, "Oh noes! Why did you have to go and do that? Now I am going to have to rob you blind of everything all over again, including the silverware!" Which I then proceed to do. I don't mean to be that way, it just sort of fell along with being playing a thief (a class I've never really cared for, but am enjoying the mechanics of in Skyrim). I'm not too in to vengeance or murder, but I have no qualms about stabbing someone in the back if need be, though I try to be as honorable as a thief can be. I guess that leaves it to a roll of the dice. What can I say, it's been very fun :)
