Vampire Soldier
Khajiit. I've played as one since Morrowwind and have never looked back. I've tried to be other races but I end up deleting them and going back to the Khajiit. They make amazing vampires too. Love those fangs.

I also am a steadfast lover of the Khajiit, although not due to vampirism, but to the immense and detailed lore behind them. If your a Khajiit lover, and your planning on playing ESO on PC, I invite you to check out my guild, (link in my signature)

Nords and Orcs for me.

Orcs are just plain ol' badass. As far as warrior combat goes, orcs reign supreme. Their racial ability is so awesome and powerful that they're the only race to not get a lesser racial power to compensate. Ignore the Nord waving around the sword nearly as tall as he is, and fear the sword and board orc in custom smithed heavy armor. And don't make any 'orcs got no brains' jokes around the library at the College of Winterhold. FYI.

On the other hand, Nords are also cool and were my favorite race in Oblivion. They fit extremely well into the Skyrim setting (duh) and provide a much more welcoming atmosphere in the cities. Plus, the main quest is very much tied into Nord cultural beliefs and mythology, so it helps immersion to be a Nord. Plus one of the most annoying elemental damage types that magic-using enemies (and some dragons) love to dish out is Frost damage, and Nords get a very welcome resistance to this type. Also, playing a Nord mage is fun, just to play with expectations.

He is the Prince of Order. Or was it biscuits?

When i started Skyrim for first time I found it Hard not to be a Nord. I felt the storyline is better if you are a Nord since it ties with the nordic myths.

Pretty tough question, based on how it was originally asked. I'd have to go with Dark Elves though! I just love the Skyrim design of them for both males and females! Some of my best characters have been Dunmer. They have a pretty sympathetic, rich, gritty, ugly, harsh and complicated history too.

LungDrac

Alana the Argonian
I'd pick Argonians in a heartbeat. I'm most comfortable with them (I consider being able to breath underwater, %100 resistance to poisons, and being good for sneaking the attributes that are fun to play with).

Redgaurd.

But I would kill to have Dwemer be a playable race.

Dwemer would be sick. I wonder what their facials would be? If I go to a dwemer ruin would I be attacked by machine? You would still have to fight falmer, since they hate the dwemer still.

Once again, the most interesting thing about the Dwemer is that they're gone.

And they'd probably look an awful lot like Altmer with longer beards. And you'd have to be an amnesiac or something to avoid ruining one of the biggest backstory mysteries in the setting.

We know dwemer have grey skin and beards. I also would guess they look like chimer/ dunmer. So shorter than high elves.

Pretty sure they didn't have grey skin. That's a specifically Dunmer attribute, and the result of a Daedric curse to boot. Yagrum Bagarn can't be used as an example of Dwemer appearance since he'd been deformed from the Corprus disease.

On the cover of the of the Oghma infinium they have the skins of all the elves, and on the top left corner they have dwemer skin it's kinda a coal color / dirty grey color.

Green for Orc
Tan for bosmer
Yellow for Altmer
Dark cloudy white for falmer
Grey for dunmer
And coal for dwemer.

My favourite race above all are the Redguard. They're one of the smaller races which is perfectly fine for me considering I'm only about 1.60m high irl. In fact I've been very uncomfortable playing big races, I barely walked out of Helgen with a new Nord character before closing it and going back to my main Redguard one.
Only exception I make for that are the Altmer. If I'm going to be big, it's really big. ;)

For me it will be Altmer without a doubt. My first character was an Altmer because I always go for the magic option and elves in RPGs, but I've come to really love them. My favourite characters have all been Altmer.

That extra +50 in Magic is a real help in the early levels, as is that racial power of regenerate magicka. And I love their appearance. Gold skin, dark hair and green or yellow eyes look awesome, and I can get the angular cheekbones and chin thing going so they don't just look like pointy eared humans which is important to me.

I find the presence of the Thalmor and Aldmeri Dominion make backstories more interesting and intense for Altmer as well. I don't like the Thalmor so my Altmer always have reasons to hate them, usually along the lines of the Thalmor killed nearly all their family and want to kill them for having a criminal relative or both.

I love redguards (a little because I'm black xD) but a lot because of their mystery. Their culture derives from a long line of ancient warriors and mystics - and they're not connected to the source of ancestry as the other races (Redguards are not connected to Atmora).

I find this to be as badass and mysterious as the Dwemer xD - also their original homeland is now like atlantis xD

Nord , or Wood elf , huntimg down all the Vampires and Witch's . Not a killer of the Bunnies though , I protect them and the foxes with my life .
