I play a assassin/thief class usually. It takes the most skill but is the most rewarding. By rewarding I mean one-shotting all enemies that can be snuck up upon.

Assassin takes the most thought and skill from the player which makes it the most interesting to play. I love my paralysis bow.

on an x-box, oh wait....

I love using a skyrim forge greatsword. I get so many 1 hit deaths with that thing. I'll alternate that with destruction magic. In another character, I'm using a bow, and I love getting those 1 shot kills when I am sneaking.

My sig says it all. I've played many characters but Orc battlemaster is the most fun for me. I carry a shield, 2 axes and 1 greatsword. So 1hand/shield, dual wield, 2hander. All Orcish too, my favorite armor and weapons.

Unarmed in heavy armor is probably the most fun. Nothing is more satisfying then beating your enemy to death with your own hands.

I also have a 1-hand/shield, but recently, at level 48 decided it was too easy and switched to 2-handed. I suppose I'll switch to archery and light armor eventually with the same character just to switch things up.

On my newest playthrough I use my decent sneak and archery skills to pick baddies off from a distance,
and will either use some badass lightning or a handy 1h axe to bring the hurt once the fight gets going.
I use alchemy just to make money, so I don't level it up as I do with smithing and will eventually do with enchanting.
For good measure, I put a couple perks to illusion and speech.

Elemental fury doesn't work for my dude, is it because my weapons are already enchanted?

I'm an excruciatingly lazy person, and my in game character reflects that. It's been quite a long time since I've actually killed someone with my own hands. I generally have 2 dead thralls with me, and they fight with any one that comes up to confront me. If I need to kill someone that isn't initially hostel, I cast fury and they challenge my thralls or they attack a guard or something and are killed. I've recently mastered Illusion, so I use mayhem, for fun, in the middle of a tavern and watch everyone kill eachother.

At the moment I play as an assassin. I've always liked stealth games and figured I'd try it here aswell. One thing I noticed is that increase to one-handed enchants and skillpoints does NOT affect daggers. Meaning that if you want the most efficient sneak attacks you have to use other one-handers (sword, mace or axe). Tbh I got a little tired of the stealth gameplay because I never fought any enemies. I cleared every single dungeon without using anything but melee sneak attacks. Sometimes I got to a point where an enemy was looking directly at me and I was unable to sneak arround them but I always had an invisibility potion ready for those moments. When clearing a fortress or something outside I always waited untill dark. (Greatly reduces chance of detection). Everything dies in one shot even on master difficulty with my crazy-upgraded daedra swords and Dark brotherhood gloves for double one handed sneak attack damage. With only 1/5 in 1 handers due to upgrading sneak, archery blacksmithing and enchanting, I still do sneak attacks for roughly 1.700. I do however have all my gear enchanted with 45% one hander damage on every slot that can hold that enchant. (so that is 4x45% enchants meaning 180% extra base weapon damage). I only use the bow as a distracting device now, since the shout that is supposed to work like that is complete crap ;). oh.. and I also use the bow for taking down dragons. Makes me feel that the points I used in that tree wasnt a total waste.

if someone want to try this build out I HAVE A SUGGESTION FOR YOU:

Instead of wasting any skillpoints on the bow as I did you should use them elsewhere. For example, take everything on the left side of the sneaking tree and use only one point on the right side to get the 6x damage on sneak with 1 handers. Then spend all other points in one-handed with dual sword weapons in mind (most efficient DPS). Use the rest of your points in the light armor tree since that is what you must wear for efficient sneaking. Finally get full enchanting and blacksmithing. Go right in the blacksmithing tree since you will NOT be able to unlock the daedra weapons if you go left. Its a waste of points. When you are full in blacksmithing and enchanting you can enchant some worthless gear with + to blacksmithing (you may want to use an enchanting potion aswell) Then, wearing that gear, you improve your Daedric swords and Dragonscale armor while also using a blacksmithing potion. Then use your enchanting to enchant everything with extra one-handed damage. Also, enchant everything you can with magic resistance aswell and since you can have two enchants on almost every item, you won't have to sacrifice a + one-handed enchant for resistance. When you get to this state you are about lvl 40 and should be pretty much unkillable. You will one-shot everything you sneak up upon and anything that you confront in direct combat will be ripped to pieces in seconds even on master dificulty. For one-handed enchants you can use Paralyzis with just 1 sec to get more charges. The enemy will still be knocked over. What I like to do now however, is to use the shout called elemental fury that increases your attackspeed. (You can't use that shout if your weapons are enchanted) You won't believe the speed of your weapon attacks. Everything will get ripped to pieces. And finally.. even tho you hav no bowskillpoints you should always carry one arround with you. You can use it as a distraction device to lure enemies to where you want them to be.

Happy stealthing.

I really enjoy playing as a pseudo-assassin's creed inspired gameplay. Altair's egoistic attitude, Ezio's momentum and the inspiration from Connor's arsenal of a bow and an axe.

I have tried being a pure warrior and a mage, I enjoyed them, but not as much as the assassin's build.

I am on the Xbox 360, so no custom content, but I like to play as a Jack of All Trades.

-Nord (Male)
-Level 99
-Joined and finished every faction
-Sided with the Legion
-Sided with Vampires in Dawnguard
-I used to dual wield Dawnbreaker and the Nightingale Blade with the Nightingale Armor
-Now I have been using Vampire Lord Armor and the Ebony Blade, Serana's Hood (as it is the only hood that works with vampires), Aetherial Crown or Moth Priest Blindfold, Elder Scroll on back
-If I feel like killing something because it is annoying me, I just use the Test Vorpal Sword, but that is rarely

yey i thought i was the only one who plays like this. i mostly see sneak or mage builds. though instead of restoration i just have a lot of pots!

but pretty much 1-h, shield, high hp, it was really easy so i got a monster mod now the toughest ones 1-2 hit me >.<

I use Wabbajack, Mace of Molag Bal, and Restoration. Restoration makes EVERYTHING overpowered. My build i think of it as a banished daedric Prince who is regaining his might by collecting his brethrens artifacts.

I mostly rely on Marksmanship and sneak attacks, though I am no assassin and put no perks in Sneak. I love my crossbow and though I just bought an Ebony Bow of Paralysis, I still haven't used it yet in favor of my prized Dawnguard weapon. I don't even remember the last time I used a bow (I think it might have been when I was using up all my iron arrows attempting to shoot hawks in Solitude). At any rate, I sneak up on the enemies that I can, take a few out with my crossbow and when I've been noticed, handle the rest with sword and shield, as well as my heavy armor. It's a combat style that definitely keeps things interesting. The skill of stealth is there but is not overpowering and my survival in martial combat depends on it.

It's great to be so versatile too - to switch between being a cannon and a tank at will. If I'm with a mage follower, I can tank for her while she blasts away with spells and if I've got a tank follower, he can distract the enemy while I stand at a distance filling its gut with bolts.
