Hunting...?

So I am big on hunting in Skyrim. I always am in games when it is offered.

I was curious if anyone had any favorite hunting grounds? Any hunting spots that are particularly dangerous?

I think so far my favorite is to go from Riften and to go north towards Windhelm. I tend to be a little closer to the mountain while doing so as well.

Head from whiterun towards morthal, i found quite a few dangerous things there . Also the region near Ivarstead is quite dangerous once you venture around a bit towards Eastmarch

There's a series of hunts where you kill a special critter like in FO: new Vegas and red dead redemption. Maybe somebody else knows the name.

do you mean the quest where you need to kill the 3 spirit beasts?
I think you get that one in Froki's Shack

That's the one. But it's seven critters, but you are tasked with three, go back and talk to Froki, he gives you three more, go back and talk to him, and then the last one.

If you stay on the path past Ivarstead, you come in between some Sabre cats as well some other creatures. (Going from Whiterun to Morthal) - I didn't really encounter any hunting creatures other than rabbits and wolves.

I think the most dangerous place to hunt is in SKYRIM. A word of advise never go there or in two second imperials will be dragging you off to cut ur head, i know that because it has happened to me, and i am pissed. I quit the game and never touched it before he could swing at my head.

I have my favorite places to hunt. I just want to know yours, and if any have any amount of danger to them... I havent found many dangerous ones unless I'm hunting Mammoths and have 3 at once or something. I just wanted to hear some hunting stories lol

No danger but fun. Go to solitude and look up, hawk hunting!

Depending on what kind of challenge your looking for,

If your searching for Snow Bear or Saber Cat pelts stake out the mountain ranges. Deer and Elk can be found anywhere, but if you want a real challenge try to take down a mammoth with only bow. After that its all about timing. If you really want a challenge, head North of Windhelm to hunt down the Snow Bears and horkers.

My favorite place to hunt is southern Falkreath. Imo it has the most game of all the Holds, and it's just so beautiful.

Had fun hunting in Lybrthanean (idk how to spell) but this is the place where there's like 4 trolls, and more if u go inside the tomb.
