Hey forum. Skyrim fan a bit frustrated here seriously. First off i want to say i had no clue i was going to be put in that situation after dealing with that vampire clan (and yes i heard of oblivion but never played long enough to be vamp). I killed them off but i payed the price of having an annoying curse now...

I thought the powers were cool up until the part when i noticed EVERY town i went to hated me and wanted to kill me. Thus i couldnt no longer do any missions successfully. So i need your help! What is the true way of getting rid of this issue?? I know bethesda didnt make this a permanent situation to where you are stuck like that. It would be quite stupid and pointless.

And yes i went to the shrine of Talos and cured myself. It didnt work i guess because i was over 3 days as a vamp. Again i didnt know how deep i was in the trench of it until i saw the youtube videos. I would have cured myself way early for all that had id known.
I also went to the bar woman with the rumors too. How did i do that? while fending off the bar folks trying to kill me since im "vamped out" i hypnotized her and made her talk to me. once the quest she sent me on to find Falion started i ran out of there, but when i got to him he too was trying to kill me. So i tried to hypnotize him like i did her also but then it said "FALION IS TOO POWERFUL" for that power to work! >_>

so here i am Skyrim forum...what the hell can i do to get out this situation? Btw its a hot game and i just want to finish enjoying playing it.

Thanks

You cannot simply "cure" full blown vampirism. So far the only effective way of curing it that we (we being this forum) know of is to become a werewolf. All you need to do to reduce the effects is feed on someone who is sleeping. Click on the button in my signature for more information on vampires.

ok thanks for the tip but the annoying problem is ive done that and snuck in while invisable (AT NIGHT) and tried to get two victims on two separate times and they woke up asap like they sensed me coming which is retarded..

Im familiar about how the whole vampire bit works but as for this skyrim game its pretty foggy to me. Now that you have mentioned being a werewolf how do i go about doing that? where are the werewolves located? ill pretty much waltz over there and just become infected by them now if thats what it takes..

thanks again for the quick reply btw

The quests to become a werewolf is in Jorravskr, in whiterun, the companions hall. Complete their quest lines, and you will eventually get a quest to go to the underforge. And BAM! your a werewolf. The ability to become a werewolf is located in the magic section of your menu, under powers I believe. it is assigned to the right bumper(on xbox) just like a shout.

Huh? You can't bite them? Try some out of the way town around 1 am.

Thanks to both of you,

@Nick:
yeh smh..everytime i try to creep up on a sleeping person between 12 am and 2am i get hell. they wake up quick or some nosey idiot is chasing me down like he smelled me coming or can still see me as im INVSIABLE. its pretty odd.

but anyway im going to try what you guys said and that should work...i still have to get a sleeping victim though because im sure im not gonna be able to do that werewolf quest if everyone still hates me..lol

If only I cared
level four vampires get embrace of the shadows. it is a spell that makes you invisible.

remember, you can enter a home already in the stealth position, which does not alarm the tenants, causing them to awaken abruptly.

the guy that can cure you is actually in morthal. at least i think that was the name of the town.

feed off someone at a farm, that is secluded. not the city.

vampirism is easy to control, once you get the hang of it, and has its benefits.

Head over to http://skyrimforum.com/threads/lycanthropy.2026/ a thread I made containing all you need to know about being a werewolf. Feel free to add more!

yeh i know about the guy in Morthal...hes not talking to me because im level 4. he tried to kill me haha. The powers of the Vamp im aware of its just that when i turn invisible (embrace the shadows) they still wake up before i even get close which is retarded at the moment. i guess i have to keep trying...but yeh this is something ill have to work at because i refuse to reset my game....i progressed through way too much so far^^

ill snag a victim before the night is over...im pretty determinded at this point to get rid of teh vamp stench on me

you -could- go pick up the shadow stone as well. its another invisibility. limited per day. but it would be useful in your situation.

make sure you are entering their homes in the croutched position, and around 2-2:30am.

doing that will make it a lot easier, i promise

I can tell you confidently that I know exactly how to solve this problem, as my brother had it. First of all, as you have said, when your a level 4 vampire everyone turnes hostile to you. They wake up, and see you even when your invisible. So there's only one way for them to not notice you. First of all, take off all your armour and weapon. Next, go invisible (UNTIL, you get to a front door of a house). Now, make sure you have the spell "Muffle". It makes your footsteps silent. Enter the house. You will notice that the victim sleeping will not have woken up, great! Walk slowly up to the man/women, and feed on them.

Congratulations!

P.S: This is exactly what my brother did. He did it on PS3 though, so I can't confirm that it will work the same for xbox or PC. Good luck with getting rid of it!

(Oh, and once you're back to level 1 vampirism, do the quest Nikola has stated above and it'll be cured.)

whats up forum. just wanted to hit you guys back and say thanks for all the tips and to tell you what i did to get out of that Vamp situation. I been progressed on btw since then. Anyway well i pretty much took the "Falios route". i was like day 4 in on the saves being a vampire so i reloaded the game where i was at atleast 1 day going into 2. 2 levels down thats all. which was "9". I had to move fast though because each fast travel from certain areas was like a freakin DAY!...mind you i had to talk to the chick with the rumors (meanwhile i was borderline scaring town folk to death) to set me on the mission to falios the vampire expert for the black gem. So i Got to falios. dude told me to get the soul trap from a mage so i had go to i think its called whiterun (?) the spot next to dragonsearch? that was the only one i remembered that had Mages there. well i ran through there and remembered the king there and talked to his mage. I got the blackgem and then (haha) i went to the stables by the city and killed an innocent farmer and stole his soul. Then fast traveled out of there asap back to where falios was. it was like seconds before i got to him in time. he was just about to go to bed. I got him the gem. then i went ahead of time to the spot where he told him to meet him at come Dawn. i sped up the time a bit as i was standing there and instantly he started doing the chant to get rid of the annoying curse.

Dont get me wrong the Vamp powers im sure might have been cool but i just didnt have the patience to play the game first playthrough with everyone trying to kill me in everytown and stopping me from enjoying the story how i want to. After i beat it i may try that route (or the werewolf) and work through it, because i heard the powers are actually hot once you get stronger. So thats the conclusion to my Vampiric experience

Here is a video tutorial on how to cure vapirism. Im a werewolf so i have never had to cure it, but this is curing level 3 vampirism. You may need to feed a couple of times to drop your level back down to three im not sure but maybe you dont. Hope this help its the same guys who do red vs blue.

you could try ranking up your sneak in on of the bandit fortresses (i find that to be the best place to lvl sneak)
