Thanks! It's easy to feel alone in that vast, vast world so it will certainly be fun to be able to discuss my character's latest adventures with you guys. I do have a questions about Marcurio, my mage husband I seemed to have misplaced over the course of my travels. I'd like to find him again but am not sure where to look. What's the best place to find an answer to that sort of query?

uh oh.... Well, first let me ask: Did you ask him to "wait" for you somewhere? Or did he just get lost in the wilderness while you were climbing a mountain? Has he appeared at all when you fast travel? And, have you received a letter from a courier indicating an inheritance?

Lydia has disappeared on me in a similar fashion... fortunately I didn't marry the annoying wench. :p

LOL! I actually liked Marcurio. He was a heck of a fighter. I didn't ask him to wait for me anywhere. I think I just let him go on his way. But we were married before that. I haven't received a letter. Should I go back to the Bee and Barb in Riften and "wait" a few days?

If you're married and haven't asked him to wait for you as a follower, then his default location is in your shared house. Whether that's a house you purchased in a town, or his own personal house, I'm not sure. When you got married, where did you decide to live together?

I don't think we talked about it! It doesn't seem like we got very far along in this relationship. Strange. I'll wait at the Bee and Barb a few days and see what happens. Hopefully that will work.

LoL! This sounds like a Vegas wedding! Is there a Skyrim version of Las Vegas? Riften?

Just to be sure, I'd check any houses you own!

It really does! I'll check over at Breezeway. Perhaps he's there, using his magely might to light the fire. Thanks for your help, Windress!

Update: Found Marcurio waiting for me at the Temple of Mara. "We're married!" he exclaimed before we went off to battle mages together.

Thanks so much for all your help, guys. I cleared out a couple of forts with Marcurio's help. Now he's back at the house waiting for the new furniture to arrive, good househusband that he is. In the meantime, I'm off to do some Thieves Guild quests, hoping to get that unbreakable lockpick. I also want to join the Dark Brotherhood so that might be one of the next rungs I climb on the Skyrim ladder.
