You know what rules! There can be only ONE~! Highlander..... no I mean dragonborn.

Exactly and adding multiplayer stuffs up the whole storyline about only being one dragonborn. And this game dosen't need multiplayer.

I don't see how it would benefit exactly. Right now I believe it's only to the point of just being there. If it were to make it so you could share quests then maybe, but it would be a lot of work to allow a player to share a shout once they ran into it.

Obviously, I'm on XBOX, so I doubt we'll be getting multiplayer.

This may sound ludicrous, but maybe Bethesda could borrow some of the multiplayer elements from Fable 3, and perfect them. Just a thought.

Let's hope they make a co-op mode in which you can't be killed by other players, only by NPCs, otherwise all the kids who've exploited smithing and what-have-you to reach max levels will be runing around killing everybody.

I mean , if you can just use the console to max everything and get any weapons you want, PvP play would be pretty meaningless.

Co-op could be lots of fun, just discard all quests and spawn up crowds of mobs , monsters and dragons in different areas so people can team up and go raiding. Mission: clean up Skyrim!
