Hey guys. Yeah, I'm well aware something like this has probably been done before. But one more thread never hurt anyone. Right?

Okay, so, this thread is about the most irritating enemies you've ever met/seen/been massacred by.

My most irritating enemy is the Draugr Death lord in that one crypt I can't remember the name of. I play Donath Stone-crusher, a Nord warrior, that has heavy armour (Steel armour, superior), has a steel battle ax, and no helmet. I play by very strict rules. No Dragonborn, no bows and arrows, and no magic. He can only rely on potions and armour to save his arse if he gets into a losing fight.

So, Donath enters the tomb, is doing good, carving his way through Restless Draugr, Draugr Wights, and Wightlords. He's doing good, feeling good, dodging arrows from those silly dust men, before cleaving them in two with his ax. He enters a narrow hallway, exits into a large room with a nice big treasure chest at the end of the room. next thing he hears is "Fus Ro Dah!" And the sturdy Nord is thrown back into the wall.

Donath is tough though. He scrambles to his feet, ax clenched in both hands, a war cry on his lips. An arrow, ebony, hisses past his ear. Roaring, he charges, spotting the armoured Deathlord at the top of some low stairs. One arrow hits him in the chest, winding him but not much else. He's over halfway across the room by now, ready to split the deathlords skull, and snap his stupid bow. Suddenly, the Draugr shouts again, and Donaths trusty ax flies clear of his hands. He is searching frantically for his weapon when he hears the twang of a bowstring. This time, the brave Nord is blown into the floor by the force of the arrow.

In case you haven't noticed. I hate Deathlords.

Disarm is a really annoying shout when used against me.

However, my greatest hatred is reserved for the high level magic users. Their spells do a ridiculous amount of damage! Certainly my mages can never achieve such damage-per-hit numbers as these bandit marauders and arch warlocks and what not. It's quite stupid, really. Their spell damage scales up but mine wont? I call bullplops.

I really hate Malkoran, the necromancer/destruction mage in the ruins on Mount Kilkreath. No matter what my level or character's skill set is this guy always gives me trouble. So far the only thing I've found that works is to take a follower (preferably one who can deal a lot of long-range damage) to take care of the Corrupted Shades in the room, while I sprint at Malkoran and get him into melee before he can start hurling destruction spells at me. Sometimes even that doesn't go very well.

Also, the ash spawn in Solstheim. Pretty mean (especially in groups, which is the only way I ever seem to find them)...at a higher level they're not so bad, but I always get impatient to go to Solstheim and usually end up paying for it...lol

Mudcrabs get an honorable mention after two of them followed me halfway across Skyrim, into a tower and up two flights of stairs, just to pinch me. *kicks a mudcrab corpse into the river*

This is why i only resort to magic when in crypts, against death lords who can spam shouts its pretty much your only option.
As for the most annoying enemy i've ever encountered thats a tough question, i'd probably have to say Morokei one of the dragon priests, this guy was a total nightmare my first time thru and still gives me trouble to this day, without conjuration magic he's almost impossible cuz trading spells, firing arrows, and especially using melee weapons *Just don't try it* against him is like suicide! I honestly hate him, he can 1 hit kill u no matter how high your armor rating is. -_-

That's probably because armor rating doesn't reduce spell damage. You'll want magic resistance for that.

Although they are weak enemies, Draugers are my personal hate. They always scare the crap out of me when I'm in a dungeon peacefully doing a puzzle and I turn around and it is about to hit me, always gives me a heart attack.

Madrar

The Shadow in the Dark.
That one Dragon Priest in the Labrynthian. As soon as you kill the two wizard ghosts imprisoning him, he shoots bolts of lightning at you until you're dead. For a sorcerer like my character, it's a real pain. The only thing that saved Salthar was Highborn and the ton of health and magicka potions I'd dragged along.

I personally cannot stand Slaughterfish. I take a short cut by swimming across a river and invade their 8km wide personal space zone without realising until I try to mine an ore vein. I'm on land with nothing alive for miles apart from one little fishy that can't get anywhere near me, but Nooo goes Skyrim, I am still in combat and am not allowed to mine this ore vein. I have go blundering around in the water trying to persuade the fish to get close enough to kill. Then by the end I have no frigging idea where the ore vein is. I hate Slaughterfish.

Mr Forz

I'm helping. Mostly.
High level mages.

'You cannot even conceive the power I wield!' And then proceeds to spam the hell out of Ice Storm, Chain Lightning or Fireball with no respite. Did you empty his magicka pool through shock magic/poison? Don't worry, his spells have nearly 0 magicka cost.

Yep, thats morokie, the hardest dragon priest on the game if not the hardest enemy period! I have been killed by that particular asshole on skyrim more times than i've died in dark souls total! And trust me thats saying something, i can't stand him.

I never had much trouble with morokei i rushed to cover when i got into that room and took it slowly. What always gets me are high level mages mainly frost users because they practically render me immobile and i cant attack them

The most irritating and annoying enemies are dragons that won't land or just fly away after you took like 60 percent of their life bar.
And I just stand there good naturedly being all like "He'll come back" as this oversized lizard flies over the next mountain and vanishes.

Depending on which you get. If you train your Destruction skill up to about 90 or so you'll get the tougher spells.
Ever had Incinerate? I almost one-hit every enemy I see. Even dragons won't take more than like 4 or 5 of that stuff.

I must be doing something wrong then cuz this guy just runs over me like a train if i attempt any other method of defeating him than hide an seek conjuring. :/

How do you backstab a Dragon?

Agreed - I usually draw them all out in to the narrow hall and devistate the shades with an area spell (which also harms Malkoran - of course) then take him down two handed way!

Never had that problem. I always wait until after level 40 to go there. It's hard enough at high level - the last thing I need is a weenie on Solstheim!

I had that happen yesterday! They followed me all the way to Cracked Tusk!

Champion of Grottos and Gremlins
Hagravens... I once did the quest Blessings of Nature at level 2 (forgot about Orphan Rock's newest resident during that quest) and met the level 20 hag, if it wasn't for histskin/battle cry/voice of the emperor (I don't remember but it was one of those powers, I would have died. My first thought when I met a hagraven was: hah, they are skinny, I bet that if I dodge the fireballs they will take out some iron dagger or any other weakish piece of metal. BAM! You got claw'd. And forsworn always back them up, as if they had permanent elemental fury "I can do this all day!" Well, I can't! Go kill some goats and let me simply fetch whatever the Jarl is looking for! Every single high leveled forsworn/common hagraven heals himself/herself. And no one tells you that until you find the joy of fighting one.

In the abandoned shack, slaughterfish and mudcrab stop you from fast travelling too. There you are, uncomfortable with your shoes wet, blade or spell in your hands randomly striking the water until a corpse begins floating, then you take low damage and feel happy for two seconds. Hah, now it couldn't be easier. If that's a mudcrab, then you are lucky and will kill it easily. But with a slaughterfish you will look like a madman, walking in circles trying to kill an "imaginary" enemy.

Tsun. Tsun... Damn that guy... I killed Alduin in the first attempt, my problem was Nahkriin (died once, then bashed my shield until his life was zero) and that idiotic Half-God... He killed me three times because of...
First- I got really close to him the first time because I wasn't expecting him to turn hostile.
Second- I ran really far, lost him, returned, and expected the dialogue thingy to happen again, but it didn't and he took advantage of it.
Third- I changed to spells and ran around Sovngarde fleeing from him, until that stupid storm atronach got in front of me just after I conjured him, blocked my running, and Tsun's axe, I think it was an axe spread my brains all over Sovngarde.
Then when I finally took out some of his health points, he said I was worthy and let me in. WTF? I don't get to kill you?!

Karstaag (Dragonborn DLC) - even on the easiest difficulty setting, I haven't beaten him... going to try leveling up quite a bit before I try again.

Ugh, memories of Malkoran one shotting me with his ice storm are all coming back to me now. Out of all the enemies I've encountered that guy definitely takes the cake of being the most irritating enemy. I actually cringe every time that quest starts up :p

One of them for me is Falmer. Everything about them, the way they look, the way they move, the way they sound... it all just makes me want to punch them in the face. The faces they make when they go to attack and just everything about them offends me. I don't know why... just the way it is.

I have two characters with level 100 destruction skill. Incinerate and the other expert level spells do not deal enough damage for their base magicka cost imo. They won't one-shot anything except the lowest-level enemies, and an Ancient Dragon will certainly not go down in 5 hits, even dual casted ones.

I've found that the only way to use destruction at Adept difficulty or higher, is to reduce your casting costs to near zero and spam the heck out of your spells.

Anyway, back on topic, I forgot to mention dragons.
I normally love fighting dragons, but sometimes their AI just makes me really annoyed.

A dragon attacks me! Cool, a dragon! Come here you, so I can kill you! But then, the dragon spots a wolf 200 meters away from me, and attacks it. Then, just as I'm getting close, it flies away, attacking a mudcrab 300 meters away. Then a bear, then a skeever, and then... You know where I'm going with this right? Screw the dragonborn, imma hunt me some wolfies and tasty skeevers :D

They really annoy me sometimes.
