I got banned from Nexus

Reason for your ban:

Piracy of Skyrim.

If you bought a copy of Skyrim and it did not prompt you to install and use Steam then you bought a pirated copy. All legal copies of Skyrim require Steam.

What... I didn't get a pirated version of the game, I never really got Steam to work and I didn't know what it was because I was new to PC gaming but I managed to Install Skyrim without steam somehow... what the hell
All I wanted was for someone to put the Masterchief mod on Nexus
I know I could just make a new account but I feel a bit betrayed

That site's annoying to get mods, I hardly ever use it for Elder Scrolls. Yesterday (one of the rare occasions) I couldn't even get my download because it required a log-in and there was some Error where several people including me couldn't log in.

Plus the search doesn't work right for me anymore.

That sucks, what you should try is e-mailing them a link to the instructions that you followed, and if that doesn't work, then write on a piece of paper your username with it in front of the box, then take a picture.

I know it would be jumping through hoops, but those people there have a stick shoved so far up "there" that they can't think straight with it hitting their brain.

If they haven't IP banned you, then you could make another account, or if they have, and you don't have a static IP, then you can try changing your IP, and then making a new account.

Also, never discuss anything remotely related to piracy, and just stick to commenting on mods, endorsing, downloading, and updating.

If you need help on a mod, then just either ask there, or if it goes along the razor's edge with Nexus, then just go onto this site (as long as it actually doesn't break this site's rules, like real piracy).
