There is so much to explore and do in Blackreach, although it can be annoying the first couple of times you venture there, because you have no idea of the immense size, and where each building is and what lies inside.

not really, I won't tell you exactly whats down there, it ruins surprise, but there are many surprising things that can be found there *cough* Elder Scroll*cough*

Digging up an old thread instead of making a new one.
So yesterday I did the elder scroll quest in Blackreach, and forgot to get the Lexicon(sp?) to take to Septimus(sp?). So I went back to get it earlier....needless to say I spent the last 2 hours down there (let a dwemer sphere beat on me for an hour and raised my block and heavy armor skills to around 80), I forgot a pick axe so Im going down there again soon, killed the dragon (if you dont know how to "summon" the dragon, Fus Ro Dah the HUGE yellow ball.
I'd love to see Bethesda do some DLC in Blackreach, the place is AMAZING! And scored me some ebony arrows off a Dwemer Centurion Master

Ive been meaning to go back. The first time I was pressed for time and ran through to get the scroll and got out. I was floored by how big and unique it was. I had expected a city about the size of an above ground city useing most of the stock graphics.
Id be winning to bet there is more square miles below ground in this game than above. If you add up all the caves, dungeons, castle interiors and Blackreach...its a huge amount of area.

i LOVE going down there i have been down there 3 times, and any one who has left that cube down there GOOOOO GET ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT you wont regret doing that mission, i mean seriously there is money AND skills, and levels involved lol
i went down there got lost killed like 3 huge automatons they had deadric arrows. forgot why i went down there loaded up on crimson nirnroot and soul gems. left and accidently saved over my character. i was mad. i love it down there i had no idea there was a dragon there and didnt even go into the dwemer ruins. i will spend alot more time down there next time.

If youve done the main quest down there, you take the Lexicon from Septimus and sit it on the Dwemer Puzzle "stacks" to get the Scroll..........before you leave you need to grab the Lexicon as Septimus wants it back
