Seems khajit...
So went back to my old assassin character, i don't know if ive forgotten but what the hell do you do when a fl*ffing heavy armoured khajit comes out of nowhere and one hit kills you with a steel battleaxe?

Now i remember why i get pissed so much at my xbox, maybe i shouldve stuck with my warrior and just run up to them and one hit kill them with my battleaxe.

I mean everytime a powerful enemy unexpectantly runs up to you, how far do you run? I run, hide, run again, hide again but they still follow me. This is so irritating. I have 5 points in sneak and have full nightingale.

How are they detecting you? If you have muffled boots and stay away from bright lights, you should see them before they see you. Maybe you are just moving too fast.

Assassins can't safely move as fast as a warrior. Are you sniping with a bow?

If you've focused heavily on 1h, dual power attacks with Windshear and the Blade of Woe are devastating, and Windshear can keep them staggered without power attacks

Invest in health and 1H. Need to be able to handle these exact situations.
Also, having gear that gives 100% Fortify Illusion and using Invisibility with Quiet Casting has worked wonders for me.

This is a good idea if you want to be so ridiculously overpowered that you get bored in 10 minutes.

Maybe you would.

Or just get your light armor up to 400+

This is a lot more fun to me than invisibility and flesh spells.

You could always use the invisibility daily from Nocturnal without changing anything in your build.

You can still use spectral assassin too, and that might help keep you from being surprised. He gets killed occasionally, but he usually lives 24 hours if you help him when he gets overwhelmed.

Are you using a follower with a torch? I usually take their torch away so they can't use it, but sometimes I let her keep the torch and they see her first. Slip deeper into a shadow, nd pick them off while they go after her

Yeah i did that with my khajit illusion assassin and i got very bored. I went up to master on my recent warrior because he was so powerful, i went back to my first assassin and he gets torn apart because i never built my skills were in the wrong place and i was always turning into a vampire.

This question is about my pure assassin.

Generally when I get found out, I attempt to slay my foe with a whirlwind of dagger strikes while avoiding the big axe that my opponent needs two hands to swing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If there's more than one foe, I run for my life. Really those are your best options unless you're an illusionist or you have invisibility potions(Love those. They regularly save my life.)

Paralysis poison? Strategically, I usually kill the closest or weakest ones first. I also use my weakest arrows all the time, then I'll switch to my best if I need a little boost. It isn't worth it to use better arrows on guys you can 1 or 2 shot with falmer or forsworn arrows. I made thousands of iron and steel arrows, so I'll never run out of them, but i try to get by without using any better arrows unless I absolutely have to.

I end up with so many arrows anyhow, it doesn't really matter what I use. By the time I'm making dragonbone ones, I can sell off the ones I've previously made (in the thousands - firewood doesn't cost anything if you chop it yourself) that I can make 1,000's!

Reload. :D

But, really, the trick is to always move slowly and carefully and to never lose sight of your surroundings. Also, having a high sneak skill, as stealth in this game is mostly up to chance.
