Would you prefer COD style head to head in specifically designed skyrim places or like me do you want to be able to go in a friend's world and RO and such

I think that co-op would only make the game more enjoyable...

I don't think the game mechanics would work well with an head-to-head multiplayer. Co-op IMO would work well though, and there is a lot of possibilities, such as Co-op dungeons and quests.

Its not possible for co op to be added in the DLC correct? That would have to be a day 1 thing?

Phenom did you just say that? They are different in some ways, in that the maps are bigger and there are tanks and jets. So tell me how would it be any different in Skyrim if you made it more like "Battlefield" rather than "Call of Duty"? And just to let you know there aren't tanks in Tamriel.

Edit: Either way it would be a horrible add-on to such an amazing game. Co-op would definetly be interesting, though.

i feel like co-op would be a ton of fun, with missions and caves and certain items that co-op can get

I think 98% of everyone would want co-op or no multiplayer at all.

I mean if Fable 3 lets you play the whole game together, surely an elder scrolls game could do it way better.

It would be neat if you could encounter ghosts of other players, and join each other's worlds. Sort of like dark souls but more permanently. A feature like this should no doubt have the ability to be toggled on or off.

i agree with this, as much as i love fable, i think skyrim could use a lot of things from that game

I feel that the dark souls thing is good, in that if you die somewhere you can leave a little note so if someone else walks to it they can be told "watch out for the dragon" or "bandit camp to the south" or some douche could say "walk right into that crypt, there's dragon armor inside".

I also like the idea that you can "invade someon else's world", though that done, they may badly effect it if you do not know the person, i.e, they could kill everyone in a town or place, or use console to mess it up.

^ Yeah there would be obvious restrictions. In dark souls you could not possibly mess up anyone's game world other than killing them and taking their humanity and souls.

I'm not sure I would favor an invasion type system. It would just turn multiplayer into a malicious rather than cooperative venture.

that's very true, and if you want to dual play with someone, they might have the restrictions that an invader would have, in which case, to them everyone would be immortal and they would have little freedom, and as you say, it may be malicious, aditionally considering the skyrim map is big and i fail to see how the invader would even end up anywhere near you, they could mess everything up in your village or steal the dragon armor you have stocked up in your house and leave before you know they were there. i think it would be impractical if the invader was to just pop up infront of you ready for battle when you are on low health after just fighting a daedric priest and they just chopped you down in one shout.

I think if there was to be dual play, you would possibly have to do a quest chain where there are seperate planes that are like yours and you can create a portal for someone to cross over. Then you learn a spell that creates a blue portal and in the selected friend's world, a blue portal appears nearby and they get a notification that it is there and who sent it, they can then just step through into your world.
