Darth Brogan
Sith Lord
So in my character's backstory, he has always been one of the greatest wizards in all of Tamriel and he keeps finding ways to keep himself alive for long periods of time, so I play the same character in Morrowind and Oblivion. After they implemented the face-sculptor in Skyrim, I decided to make my character age as he leveled up, so his magic that has kept him alive since Morrowind has worn off. At first, he became a vampire to continue to live forever, but he later cured himself after being unable to withstand that life, so he has come to accept his impending death whenever I feel that his time has come.
The whole idea of actually having my character die was when I was walking on a bridge somewhere in the southwest of Skyrim, and I looked down, and just thought how nearly everything I wanted to do with that character has been done, and there's not much left for him to do. I was slowly inching closer and closer to the side of the bridge, planning on declaring it the end of that character's life forever. I couldn't do it. Someday I will, but not today.
So my question for all of you is: have you ever acted out the death of your character?
