Okay, when you first start a new game...

The question is....

Do you like novice level weapons and armour when you first start and gradually advance through until your character gets more advanced as you play through the game.

I love it so much, like the longbow is my favourite starting weapon.
Since I play now an xbox 360, I record my own games through HDMI recording.

you might be interested a bit in novice level weapons and armour, alike the light armour.

in this novice video of mine , in which is my novice level tutorial. I just forgot to mention daggers.

But tell me if you like light armour as novice armour?

let me know what you think of novice armour and weapons.

cheers.

I don't quite understand the question you are asking. I use the Novice equipment until I find something better or stronger. I prefer Light armour over any other kind, fast and nimble is how most of my characters are built.

Basically my question is.....

if You first start a game on new, and you chose your most favourite weapon. What weapon will that be?
for example: I love novice level bows like the long bow better then a hunting bow, because it looks cooler.

Anyways...so what is your favourite starting weapon set?

Oh ok. When I first start the game anew, I usually loot the fallen Stormcloak's armour as it is Light Armour and that is what I like to wear. I prefer to use either the Steel Dagger or Steel Sword, the Hunting Bow is Off-hand and is only used to pick off enemies from afar.

I just gather wolf pelts and build leather strips and leather, so I can craft.

I love craft when I first start, since I get my smithing up nice and early.

If it wasnt such a pain to keep my weapons in damaging shape with the level scaling, odds are I'd constantly use the Longbow. Reminds me of my kiddie days playing Runescape.

I absolutely love, and I mean LOVE the Iron mace, it looks like I think a mace should, and I actually play many of my light armor characters in fur throughout my playthrough.

boop.
I like the look of many lower level armor and weapons. My latest character is unarmed, so the weapons part isn't relevant, but I like the way she wears the iron armor, so it's gonna stay for the rest of my playthrough even though it's the lowest quality of heavy armors. Though having been improved several times and enchanted, it does the job nicely.

well....

Enjoy the novice armour and weapons while it lasts, because by the time I am a level 30....I am no longer going to need them anymore.

Pretty much what I was thinking. Pretty much everyone that rolls a new character uses the low level weapons as armor. What are your choices run around naked? Lol

I just can't stand the look of anything but fur. The only type of actual armor I wear is Stalhrim light armor from time to time. Occasionally I'll throw on some Blades armor but that's rare since it's heavy. Other than that it's pretty much:

Forsworn Gauntlets
Forsworn Boots
Fur Armor (Loincloth style... gotta go bare chested with the bone hawk amulet, it's mandatory)
No helmet ever

I wear the starter set just long enough to get out of the cave.

Early Game I go for leather first, then loot elven or light elven off of a Thalmor soldier. You can actually get the shrouded set close to level 1 also. Either of these are good enough to play in all game if you upgrade to ancient shrouded or elven gilded.

If i want a heavy armor follower, I get them wolf armor. And skyforge /nord Hero weapons until I get Windshear and the Blade of Woe.

I actually like the look of the Mora Tang armor. Gonna try and mix some of that up with fur and forsworn and see what happens.

I had glass armor and weapons by level 20 or so, self smithed of course. I prefer making my own armors/weapons and upgrading those whenever I could.

what is this "hdmi recording" you speak of, I have an hdmi coord but have never heard of this

It's a new up to date more modern latest technology HDMI PVR recorder, there is no need to sort out technical wires any more, for that's in the past now.

Just a simple modern set up!!

first.... Buy your PVR system, then connect the HDMI in- put "in" the TV , straight through your xbox 360 or ps3.
And after your USB connection goes into your computer, then you upload the source from www.gamecapture.com and download the content. That's if you have the device first but must buy it for a bit of money.

I get fur armour as soon as I can and then I'm set. I think it's the coolest looking armour in the game. I like to move quickly and my barbarian's stamina is paramount, so for me it's the obvious choice. I know it is amongst the lowest stat armours but my play style means I don't get hit too much. I could go on about it all night but I've covered pretty much everything in another thread. :)
