The Illusive Man

The Founder of Cerberus
>When you write your to-do lists and shopping lists in the same exact style as Skyrim's objective journal. Also, when you give them interesting names, i.e. "A Trip To The Store"

>When you stand idly irl, slowly nodding your head from left to right like the DB does.
>When you try jumping up a small hill by crouching up your legs, and flailing your arms 'till you land.
>When you catch yourself staring at distant mountains while driving, and humming the peaceful soundtracks in your head.
>When you remember Miraak's chant.

Whenever you're just sitting anywhere peacefully, preferably with some beer, and the lush inn music plays in your head.

You look up in the sky, and wonder where the second moon is.

Your funeral is planned so that you're burned on top of a smithing forge.

You hear some birds singing and breifly wonder if they're outside or in Skyrim.

You are in another room, and you hear someone in the game talking, and you talk back at them while wondering if they really were talking or if it was some real person somewhere else.

Airplane = dragon.

You and your brother (also a Skyrim addict) teach your 19 month old baby cousin to say Fus Ro Dah. ("F'sWoDAAAH!")

(This same baby cousin, despite being far too little to actually play a video game, also knows from watching us how to turn on the TV and the Xbox, then she picks up a controller and sits down. It is the most adorable thing.)

... you look at your calendar, seeing the name day section says "Lyydia", and immediately think: "What's the second 'y' doing there? It's Lydia, not Lyydia."

I haven't even used Lydia since early February. :D

If it's snowing where you live, you see a bird, and then the theme tune plays in your head...

Very Dangerous Nobody
New to the site, hi hi.

I find myself often looking at wild flowers on the side of the road or butterflies and moths fluttering around and I think I need them for potions. I've also caught myself standing in line at the bank wondering if the person in front of me has enough HP to take a x6 backstab from my dragon priest dagger.

How do you backstab a Dragon?

Absolutely on the plants, butterflies and moths! (and let's not forget grasses, bushes, insects and other critters). I'm driving my other 1/2 nuts!

So yesterday my 83 year old grandmother said "Civil war is a terrible thing."

She was talking about the English Civil War, but yeah, guess what my first thought was? I think I might be addicted.

I was sat in the garden and my mother walked out saying "we need some tools for the planting" but what I heard was "Tools, wares and weapons. All for sale at fair prices." Yeah, I thought she turned into a Khahiijt.

Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding.
My current charater has been wandering across Skyrim and Solstheim, completing quest after quest, collecting money, jewels, armour, weapons, killing people, animals and many other things for some 300+ hours. Looking through the outstanding quests in my list I see glitches where speech doesn't trigger. So what do I do ? Do I load up one of those other games that have been sat on the shelf for a year or so ? Or do I start travelling back across Skyrim in a grid pattern ? Just one more check ..... just in case ..... and there it was, a cave I've never seen before, with several, rather skillful conjurors who are fond of storm atronachs and fire atronachs.

You're addicted to Skyrim (or Elder Scrolls) when you walk around the streets and shops with the skyrim soundtrack playing in your headphones and you literally pretend everyone is a race from Elder Scrolls and think of energy drinks as skooma and fantasize about dragons and magic anomalies around the streets and every where around you.
