So how exactly do rappers tie into this? Hm? Since you're convinced Lil Wayne is part of the Illuminati, he is far from being one of the most wealthy people in world.

Bohemian Grove just sounds like a super-elitist rich man's club. Snobby and pompous, yes, but all I seen was American rich people listed as visitors. I seriously doubt ex-presidents and upper-class celebs are planning world domination.

But feed my curiosity, and elaborate. Other than just saying that they are taking over, or that they are indoctrinating our children (which is way too vague to be convincing), give me some examples, or evidence.

Rappers are WAY too easily manipulated, you flash a paycheck in their midst and they'll say whatever the hell you pay them to say. It makes them nothing more than tools. They don't get the pleasure of being in the inner circle, they're merely pawns in the game. Tupac is a great example of a rapper who didn't want to play ball. He actually made an album under the alias Makaveli, speaking out against the Illuminati. He knew he was going to be killed for it, but he spoke up anyway.

The indoctrination of children is pretty easy to explain. Equality for women is a good thing, allowing them to earn the same pay as men was a good decision. The group of men who made that decision agreed as well but under completely different terms. By keeping the mother busy with work and earning money to keep a roof over the family's head, she is pulled out of the child's life which makes them more suspectible to other external stimuli.

Great example, when I was a kid my parents didn't want me watching MTV at all. With both parents at work all day, the kid can watch whatever they want. Kids are very impressionable, repeating things they hear on tv or the radio. I guess you can see where I'm going with this. These powerful men already have control of what our kid watches, the one who can prevent that is the parents.

But for some reason you seem to think education of women is the problem? Perhaps education of men, and pulling them out of the home is the real issue here.

You should be at home, teaching your children about the Illuminati. Not on the internet, distracted by discourse with strangers who are probably all agents of the enemy anyway.

Tupac was mixed up with the wrong people and he was paranoid to begin with. He wasn't killed by the Illuminati. More likely scenarios would've been he was killed in the aftermath of a brawl he was involved with against a rival gang earlier on the night he was killed. Another more likely scenario is he was killed by a contract killer hired by Suge Knight after he announced he would probably leave Death Row Records. (Suge Knight's record label) I personally like Tupac and I think he was a talented artist, but I also think he was ignorant but ignorance sells.

So what, we should go back 80 years or so where women didn't have rights and their only responsibility was to take care of the children and cook/clean for the men? All in the name of battling secret societies in the shadows?

That's not really an example of a secret society taking over the world. That's a good example of how a Television business works though. Why do you think a lot of advertisements aim for kids? Because once you get the kids, you get the parents too (Assuming they are the push-over type parents). Hardly a top secret group at work here.

If you can't defend your argument than it was too hollow to begin with. All I ask for was examples/evidence of this Illuminati and all you have is outlandish claims and vague observations of how the world works. Nothing that can be seriously considered. The hypocrisy of your allegation that we are all being distracted from what we really need to be paying attention to if we don't jump on the Illuminati bandwagon is funny, though.

This legitimate thread has turned into one giant pissing contest. It was meant to be about people's thoughts on the Illuminati, not who can bash who's opinions the most aggressively. I don't care if I get 'Bad Manners' or whatever, but you should all pull your heads out of you arses and respect ones right to STATE AN OPINION. That's all DJ Luigi was doing, stating an opinion. You don't have to like it, and you could of ignored it...

I am not the one handing out the bad manners ratings. Fear not. I don't give those out so lightly. :D

Luigi's opinion is that those who disagree with him are "sheep", "living sheltered lives", who are "asleep to it all" and who "continue to smack the snooze alarm". Additionally, I am "naive", "narrow minded", and "living in denial".

I think those who disagree are entitled to use similarly exaggerated language to defend themselves against these disparaging statements.

If Luigi wanted a polite discourse, starting out by insulting people before they've even had a chance to discuss the issues was -not- the way to do it.

As the saying goes, if you can't stand the heat, don't start a bonfire on the balcony.

I came here to learn something about the Illuminati, what I have heard about it, it's pretty interesting.

but to all conspiracy theory's, people need them, to not just accept anything as it is. there must always be a "catch" in those peoples eyes. IMO it's good some people look further, and question things. But to think there is a secret organisation to take over the world, is maybe a bit over the top.

I've seen more and more of this material coming up too. The theory isn't only geared at rap music...I've seen footage pointing fingers at the overall entertainment industry. It gets a bit far-fetched at times - lizard alien races (footage of celebs paused to see weird eyes), award shows being compared to satanic rituals (with obscure bible references), brain washing theories (backed with interviews of celebs acting strange)...However, I have no doubt that there is something wrong with the entertainment industry...of course it's messed up, it's a circus there to entertain us...does it distract us? Sure, It's supposed to do that, it's entertainment.
It gets blown out of proportion when everything becomes 'their' fault though...Michael Jackson dies = Illuminati, 2pac dies = Illuminati, Britney shaved her head = Illuminati, Lady Gaga wore a meat dress = Illuminati, Janet Jackson's titty popped out = Illuminati.
I tend to think it's a poor generalisation placed on shocking events from the entertainment industry. The rest of it is perpetuated for profit, Jay Z might end up selling more t-shirts or something. Whatever.

As for the politically and financially elite meeting up, sure they would. I do too. It's called networking. I was once invited to join a group of business owners, they endorse my business and I do the same...see how that works? Networking. But thinking that these most powerful people have a meeting over how to kill 2pac? and the best they can come up with is a drive-by?...2pac wouldn't even be a blip on their radar. They wouldn't care if he rhymed 'scheming and hoes' with 'bohemian grove' (I just made that rhyme up, I feel good about it too). The whole thing feels like a gimmick to me.

I don't want to come off rude. But from reading this, it leaves me with the question of; If well funded secret society, basically limitless money, they rule the world and the source of their evil power is within MTV and Rappers?

WTF have you people been smoking, if a secret society with unlimited cash wants to rule the world, I think they would find a better method than MTV and Rappers. For starters the Military would be a better choice, Government Agencies, Intelligence communities. But that isn't the case, the source of their power lies within MTV and Rappers and they were in danger of Tupac so they killed him.

These people with limitless cash, did a drive by. I think if they were super secret and super wealthy, they would of made it look like suicide.

Medea

The Shadow Queen
I used to believe in a few conspiracy theories. For instance, I actually thought the government might have set Timothy McVeigh up, to discredit the militia movement. I just thought that killing innocent children was unforgivable, and an act like that would be too evil if you actually wanted to get a message across to the public. I thought it would have the opposite effect, and people who might support your "cause" would actually be leaving in droves. But after witnessing the emergence of the Tea Party, I came to understand that some people really are that fluffing crazy.

As far as the "Illuminati" goes, many people point to the Bilderberg Group as being the modern day version.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilderberg_Group

While I don't believe a small group of people like this actually controls every aspect of society, we have to look at what's happening in the world. The rich are getting richer. The Middle Class is disappearing. Corporations dictate to individuals what they need to do in order to have a career. Now, some even ask for your Facebook profile, because they want to know "what kind of person you are". Our rights are being trampled and our privacy is being invaded.

Mark my words, if it continues to get any worse they will even be allowed to put cameras up in your home to see what you are up to, eventually. Think about it: If they could get away with it, they would do it, wouldn't they? They already tried to pass a law where they could monitor what we are looking at online, legally.

Corporations also dictate to the government. They've grown so influential our government can't pass regulations, close loopholes, or even impose a miniscule tax increase on them. They don't want us to stand up and protest, or fight back, so they feed us mindless entertainment that never ends, such as reality tv programs. It's easy to laugh at someone that has it worse off than you do, or ACTING dumber than you are.

Am I being paranoid, or am I telling the truth?

It's also become too easy for us to worship the celebrity/rich lifestyles, and accept our "lowly" station in life. Do you remember how vicious the attacks on Occupy Wall Street were? They are making us afraid, and ignorant.

Is it all coming from one particular group? I don't think so....but one thing is for sure, they are getting away with everything they can right now, short of kicking down our doors and killing us.
